Duck high attacks, study frame advantage of moves to know when to punish, learn which attacks are safe to side-step, master movement techniques like Korean backdash to avoid your opponent. There's no shortcut, you just have to learn what the characters do, what to punish and how to punish it. It's longer than most fighting games because the characters have a lot of moves, but you'll make it eventually if you keep playing
Another beginning step to reset neutral is using your down 1. It's not a universal answer but it will definitely help specifically with constant pressure.
