Try to sidestep and side walk don't mash against Hwoarang plus frams check Hwoarang plus frams on internet also king has good power crush attack uf 34 is really good attack against opponent pressure but also reski if Opponent use low attack
Yea thanks guys... I guess I'm still learning how to play with a slowed down King. I used to destroy Hwaorang. Nerf back 1 has changed that a lot, and no back dash lol
Kingsman, whats ur overall opinion on king. I mean iam a king main since tekken 5 myself, but i do find t8 especialy hard due to the aggressive nature of the game. It feels like king's moves and gameplan lean very heavy into throw mixups and ch. All his other options are quite weak compared to older games. And u really have to master movment against this rushdown "ranked meta"
I agree. Against any other playstyle I do well with king. Then I struggle against aggressive mixups. Frustrates the shit outta me that I’ve been labbing movements. Kings back dash sux. I usually use jag step but I’ve been practicing Korean back dash and that’s been driving me nuts
T8 king is good but im not satisfying with hid back dash nd his counter hits nurf but we have 50 50 Mixups but at high level we can't make pressure with these type's of mixup bcs other characters are so strong like jun jack azucena reina devilsl jin thess character are really good pressure nd poking game king can't make pressure on these character especially if you're playing against knee or Arslan ash

King just does not have the plus frame rushdown that the other guys have right now although he does have muscle armour to fight back against pressure like Gigas did in T7. I mean look at Dragunov and Azucena having a running million plus frame move and strings with both plus frame and CH launch at some parts of their strings LOL.
Inputs are quite easy. You can hold Back right immediatly after 3+4 and He never Starts with the rushdown Animation. U can actuall visuell check that as well and wait like 0,5sec (a tiny bit) and then Input the isw. U have more then enought time
