It was this clowns "I'm going to get an Uber Eats after I finish this video" comment that enraged me. As someone on the centre left who finds the gig economy, its lack of regulation in the UK & Uber specifically all incredibly exploitative I would expect the bare minimum of my behaviour to be not using/engaging with their products and services as it is incredibly easy not to. This guy however "bUt muH aDHd."
I know this is a late response but this is equivocally true, as someone who works in foodservice. While I acknowledge that it's labor exploitation all the way down, I also gotta eat and I'm an excellent cook. However I can also recognize that ubereats and there like are pretty much THE WORST in the game when it comes to labor exploitation that isn't openly illegal. I never use those services. This guy's leftism is completely a leftism of convenience and to be abandoned when it interferes with his comfort.
