The repeating bass line is taken from John Carpenter and Alan Howarth’s track “The Bank Robbery” an unused queue for a deleted scene from Carpenter’s film “Escape From New York”. It was also reused in Stranger Things Season 2.
Honestly if the next album had the layering and instrumentation of tbhc with the rock n roll aesthetics and sounds of am and fwn (which this surprisingly sounds a lot like, like the bsides with more synths), it’d be amazing.
John Carpenter is a filmmaker who’s made loads of horror cult classics like The Thing, They Live, Halloween etc. The second half is from The. Jon Spencer’s Blues Explosion, a band who recently featured in Baby Driver but have been around for some time now

This man knows his stuff.
DEEP CUT
I love that the name of the track is a mix of the band Jon Spencer´s Blues Explosion and the director of The Thing, John Carpenter.
They’re kinda teasing what the next album would sound like.
That would honestly be so amazing
raffi exactly
Fuck I hope so

Came back after today's announcement to say that you're probably right
No one else will get this but the sound at 0:39 always reminds me of The Batman intro from 2004
Blues and spy music.....and a little AM mix. Groovy. Yeah!
And scary 😈
A mix of humbug and tbh&c 😎
I NEEDED THIS
I'm flying, I'm over the moon, oh my, it's just an eargasm!

Uluqiorra321 Definitely
OMG THIS IS BEAUTIFULLLLLLLL
I needed this!!!!!!
Reminds me so much of John Carpenter’s Halloween (1978) theme song
Brutal!
So it's like The Jam of Boston? That was an interlude between 505 and tranquility base so is this an interlude too
Yes, basically, but between 'Brianstorm' and 'Knee Socks'.
@@klara13 You have the jam of Boston on studio audio??
Suena genial, inclusio parece una versión de estudio
Love this!!!!
My favourite monkeys song +++++
El final de esta canción calza perfectamente con knee socks aunque probablemente después del "YEAH" de Alex la empiezan a tocar skshdh
Así es, lo hizo en su concierto en México. 🤘
Supongo que en muchos otros más.
Kinda sounds like a GTA5 mission
Podrías hacer algo parecido con Jam of Boston?
Ojala, creo que las versiones que hay no tienen muy buen audio :(
Listening to this while eagerly waiting for AM7

Alex Rodacan that’s what it is...
The name "John Carpenter's Blues Explosion" where it's from? :O
Just random words probably, it's not even an actual song
It’s the name of a band mate. Became popular from a movie called Baby Driver playing one of their songs.
Its is a song , i watched stranger things, the song was in one of the episodes, Type , John carpenters Blues explosions ( The bank robbery)
John Carpenter is a filmmaker who’s made loads of horror cult classics like The Thing, They Live, Halloween etc. The second half is from The. Jon Spencer’s Blues Explosion, a band who recently featured in Baby Driver but have been around for some time now
Was this improvised live or written beforehand
my guess would be improvised on a soundcheck or something and then polished into a half improv/half planned interlude..
Música para mear o.0
¡CRIMINAL!
Sounds like something straight out of John Wick!
What is it?
It's a jam of theirs, that they were performing torwards the end of the last tour
Clara, oh like the jam of Boston
iyi güzel hoş bakalım..
