Slight bummer how you can watch the pair lose faith and quickly give up on the "virtual band" gimmick. Going from attempting in-character, fully undercover phone interviews to Damon & Jamie straight up sitting in a studio with some American DJ who's taking the piss out of the remaining bones of the concept. I imagine that dismissive tone from the media of "Okay now lets get serious and hear about the REAL band" got tiring for the both Jamie & Damon. Nowadays it seems like there's so much respect for Gorillaz, I wonder if that'd be the case if Damon did end up remaining "off-grid"
