Beautiful strong Chere, my neighbour from Nyanyadu ko Kwa Thema. My brother, Proud of you setlogolo sa Mamane le Ntate SchoolBoy for turning a leaf. 🙏🙏⚘️🌻🌺🍁🌷❤️💞🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦
This I gotta let my teenage son watch, not because he's troublesome but I just want him to be more aware of the consequences of keeping bad company or committing crime, for that matter. I do tell him but I think, coming straight from the horse's mouth, it will make more sense. Thank you King David, you're doing a great job👌🏽
I find myself constantly feeling like listening to this podcast again and again, chere ke Lepara. He makes his story very enjoyable. I don't want to talk about king David, cos he is the master
every teenage boy and older needs to watch this...I know Chere personally from age 14 to date and I feel privileged to have seen his progress. God bless you my friend
Goosebumps 😢 firstly Chere's command of the English language impeccable 👌 very smart too...the God in him, the taking of accountability, working with the boy child 👏 ❤ may God continue to shine His light on you...David such a calm and crisp interviewer...I loved this because of the message it brings...that don't even start crime and if you have already change your ways
It's good to see the person Chere has become. We grew up together e Nyanyadu, Kwa Thema. He forgot to say he was a smart dresser and a charmer boy. Great interview King David!
Wow😭😭😭😭😭😭 A reflection of my life thru someone who went to prison,my anger needs to be contained in a cage and never to let it out. Thank you 4 saving my life thapelo chere and u as well David king 4 ur show😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭☺☺☺☺☺❤❤❤❤❤
I love the sound of King Dh "your job is important". It reminds me of what my son said last month I Cote" Lolo I feel important" I must say those were the first most powerful words I ever heard coming from his mouth and I shared a tear . Definitely your your job is important . There are lot of teenagers who really need to be inspired .Keep up the good work Chere The Champ! Thapelo keep on Thapeling God is watching ...he hears every little prayer. Dear black child it is possible✊
Ohh yes..."Becareful of the applause you get because they might lead you to your grave" that's one thing I took from this great interview more like story telling actually. Chere may God continue to strengthen you my brother...keep changing lives. You've opened up my mind about taking care of the victims because of how you broke it down and the ripple effect it might have.
When my boy grows up to 13, I will show him this video. As a parent I have learnt a lot. I also like that Chere, tells us that some step parents can be the best but still a child can become what his blood leads him to become.
God's timing is always perfect. You past was meant to mold you for the future. You came at the right time. Our youth needs people like you as in now. Thus interview was so great that you equipped us as parents. Keep shining fly high
I can't believe that I have spent the whole day of my time in bits and pieces just listening to this interview. Powerful stuff.....very enlightening to some of us who are professionals and dealing with social ills. Thanks kakhulu
I watched this in one sitting. Ntate Chere, I absorbed every word you said. I am raising a boy and I will make him watch this in his lifetime! I was moved immensely when you said transformation happens through exposure and spoke about victim empowerment. I wish this message for parents and kids in my community, I wish for us a country that you envision and strive for, support and that Victim Empowerment Centre! I'm eternally grateful for people like you, o senganga! Modimo a o ekeletse
Wow King David. This should be by far the most motivating, educational patriotic interview I have watched. Literally. I am blown away. I am encouraged to do my bit as a citizen moving forward. WELL DONE CHERE. With people like you, there is hope for our children 's future. May you grow from strength to strength. May your vision multiple in hundreds through all communities. God bless 🙌 🙏🏿
I never thought I would ever listen to an interview or anything of some kind for more than 2 hours, but it couldn't happen to this one and I even went back to clear my mind on some important things that this very important man said...I really appreciate him being a man of people, a hero, mostly to young boys and him being that guy who appreciates a lot...I was touched by his step father' story though. Otherwise, I give a big-up to all those who came from so called prison and bring these kind of change to us and show love, care and support. It is actually the real rehabilitation system and also a correctional facility. I love it...👌👍🙌💯✅
Hey bro we need people like you in this country, if we hav people in our government who think like you n willing to create job to people like you do maybe our country will be the better place to be
Wow such an inspirational interview. I’m from Daveyton and yoh I’m so touched. Please share Chere’s details. We need more Cheres in this world. Wishing you all the very best Chere. We thank God for your life and continue making a difference in our young peoples lives.
I would love to see this interview on SABC. It's message is too powerful not to reach the majority of Sans. Truly. What an informative, brilliant, motivating interview. 👏 👌🙏🏿
This is so beautiful......10 minutes in the podcast but I already feel like this guys mom, had time with great men hey. It means a lot to have a bf who likes your child
I am a former prisoner who served 7 years in prison. This gentleman is narrating a true story and I am laughing the gòd way he tells it. He can write a book to warn people.
When he started explaining prison life, you see ke di hell...its a pity people who need to hear this are out there not paying attention to such. Mr Chere really understands South Africa and the psychology of the young black men. I hope he goes further, doors open so he can do his work even more. We need him
Restore dignity, inspire confidence and build self esteem. Impact and transform through exposure especially for the boy-child. Very very powerful and very positive outlook. wow!
My brother who's the attraction of the viewers,we need people like you who speaks life, the heavens are listening right now is going to Bless you and your step father in a highly standard, God will fill the dry Brooke, sometimes God allows the Ravens to feed us for a certain period, something good is going to come into your life, remember it's not about the start it's about the ending, there you are you proclaiming victory , thanks for uplifting us spiritual, it's the first time I hear baby boy so in touch with your step father
A very nice, clean, articulate, interactive dialogue, both the interviewer and interviewee. A true reflection of real life. Oh! not forgetting to mention the solid collection of albums in the background (that completes this session👏🏽). Thank you Mr Mashabela, Much Love, Respect and more Blessings 🙏🏽.
I have a request Sir David, is there any chance you could use subtitles for your shows so that we can understand your podcasts that are predominantly in venac. I really enjoy your interviews but am not an SA native. Just by reading the comments and what I could make out of the interview, this was a very insightful interview. TIA.
Thank you King David a lot for the show. Thank you my brother Thapelo, to God be the glory man of God, may God sustain you and meet you right at the point of your essential needs 🙏
Chere you have said it mouth fully my son never bonded with his father who was on Robin Island but he emulates him almost 100% it runs in the bloodstream /genes
Woow, great educational interview. I love how well he is connecting the dots when articulating the value of the work he is passionate about and his programs. I wish government could take advantage of people like him and listen to advice, and work with them. It will also inspire others to come back and become better people. His views on the transformation of the mind and exposure makes so much sense. I’m inspired to do better for others. May the Lord bless him with all the resources he needs to fully fulfil his purpose. Mr David - great enlightening & impactful podcast. There is always something new to learn. Keep up the good work Sir. Reya leboga 🙏🙏🙏
Great show King David, I love the format. Your interviews of ex-offenders are such eye-openers. Our society needs conversations like these to deal with the myths about prison life and offenders. I really enjoyed your interview with Chere Thapelo Matseke. He's so articulate and doesn't victim blame. Instead, he shows what's wrong with the system and provides solutions. I wish that DCS can utilize them to partner with in ex-offender rehabilitation and integration. Government leaders can't do it alone, they need advice and suggestions from rehabilitated ex-offenders like Chere. His suggestion about victim support is brilliant, the government has dismally failed in this regard. BIG Ups!
I met this guy through a mutual friend Tebza and i must say this guy is all about action....i just wish to work with him in these programs especially those of coming from a broken home...all the best bru
wow!!! what an amazing conversation. I wish this words would also reach to the ears of the kids that I teach everyday at school. This is so inspiring and life changing.
The way David laughs, facial expression😂😂😂😂He keeps saying "but u were kids". He's surprised n not believing. So nje i keep laughing too, Chere is one the best narrators.
David and Lynn Ngugi Ngugi have a way of interviewing people without judgement and making everyone they chat to seem like the most interesting person in the world and their story worthy of being told. Special skill.

May God bless Mr. Chere with all the resources that he requires to do his work. This interview is an eye opener, we do need figures like him in our society. He is well spoken and is clear about what he wants to deliver, may it be so. Thanks to my boredom in December, I had the time to follow this podcast, and I have been watching most of the episodes. Nice one King David, if it's nice we play it twice.

The part where Chère talks about his first time in prison to the Nigerian Vs Zulu fights, I've watched that so many times 😂

Mr Matseke has an essential point to consider that is making great sense and will lead to healing in South Africa....
I always watched podcast for such information, so that I can learn from their mistakes. I really love this interview. I will always come back to it.
