- My Kohya installation was giving me trouble and I had to reinstall to get it working. I also cover where to get (and how to install) cuDNN libraries from NVIDIA.

My kohya installation wasn't working, since I didn't start the installation with administrators rights.

I'm having fits getting Kohya to install and function properly. This YT video gives me hope. Will follow your excellent guidelines and perhaps, God willing, finnaly succeed in training my first LoRA. Even if it fails, thank you for doing this excellent how-to. Much appreciated.
any luck? 6th install im fuming in rage. lol. But I'm trying to do it with CUDA 12.1. which should be possible because you can literally find precompiled cuda 12.1 files in the kohya directory and found people online doing it. but no luck yet. trying millions of combos of torch and onnx gui and nightly builds oh my god... ill update if figure it out.

after an upgrade my kohya stopped working. I tried reinstalling but still doesn't work. I stumble onto this video, followed step by step and now it's working again. Thank you very much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My Kohya isn't recognizing images to get it trained and I'm also using an AMD gpu I don't know what to do I'm stuck.

After updating kohya it's just errors and errors and errors, training part is giving me lot of errors, it was working good before. I am going to install it fresh. And if it doesn't work after a fresh install ( training, that is what it is for) I am not going to touch it again ,for few days.
when I do the training I get this message over and over: "A matching Triton is not available, some optimizations will not be enabled. Error caught was: No module named 'triton'"
When i try to download torch 2 (same as my stable diffusion) my pc stops working and after a while everything slows down a lot
hi, I have installed it many times and when I go into the web page, none of the buttons work or responding, it all shows grey colour....do you know how to fix this? please
Can't figure out why this doesn't work for me. When you run setup, you get the Creating venv part then you get dropped into that menu with options. For me, it creates the venv then drops me back to the command line. The files are created, seemingly, but I don't get to use any of the options. The install is half broken, the gui runs but nothing works
Hello, this is interesting feedback. I'm about to try installing Kohya on a different machine to see if I get errors. It's worth noting that I have Automatic1111 installed already before I installed Kohya. Maybe something from the other install is carrying over to Koyha.

and also, I got this message when train a model : A matching Triton is not available, some optimizations will not be enabled.

Hello, from what I can tell a Triton issue lies somewhere between xformers and cuda. You might want to try a full reinstall of Kohya and cudnn libraries.
Kohya is hek of a headache. It was good before. Lots of troubleshooting required to get it working just for few loras.
how can i know which torch i am using?, i followed all the steps i selected torch 1 just because i didnt know wich one was the right one, then i open the gui file and the console opens and closes quick,
If it's still failing, maybe try a removing everything and a reinstall with Torch 2.
Also, if you are starting the BAT file by double clicking and it is opening and closing to quickly to see any errors, try going to Start, opening a command prompt, changing directory to where Kohya is installed, and type the batch file name in the command window. It will execute the batch file, and won't automatically close the window so you can see the error. Let me know how it goes!

Yes, I made that. It sits on the desktop and just gives a little more control to launch Kohya than having a shortcut to gui.bat

It worked for me! Also, can't believe my system still defaults to Microsoft Edge as a browser. Yuck. Gotta change that.

There's a great lack of LoRA training information on the web, i don't know what 90% of what's in the Kohya_SS does.... Everytime i experiment outside doing the only build i found that generate good LoRA's it either just Critically errors or generate incoherent shit.

Hm okay, that didnt really help me, cause the "Triton" module is still missing
Installing Lora i had billions of different errors, insanely much. Wasted 8 hours and any of Captioning still not working.
Why are all these Stable Diffusion apps so insanely difficult to install? SDXL wont install, it bluescreen and hard crashes my PC. Tried installing this, ran through every one of the three hundred hoops you have jump through, ran the setup.bat and immediate error. Reinstalled Python, redistributables etc....error after error after error. Getting ANYTHING installed is a major achievement by itself. Running it is a whole 'nother level of extra tedium.
