You made me smile when you mentioned your nails. I retired from doing nails. I would spend hrs creating beautiful long nails with stones and art on them. Then I would pull out my hammer and saws or gardening tools. As you stated...a true artist doesn't wear gloves. Now I have a question. Can you use cement in the paint? Of course gloves would be necessary. Great video as well!👏
It’s called Spackle or Spackling paste. You can get it at any home improvement store like Home Depot r even Walmart. Spackling paste is easier to use as the texture is already perfect for this kind of thing.

I just bought the same vase at goodwill today for 3$( brown one ) and was thinking of doing the same thing to it - just trying to decide on a color !
