Traditional Portuguese Rice Pudding Ingredients: 1 cup of rice 1 litre of milk 250g of sugar 4 egg yolks 1 or 2 pieces of lemon peel 1 stick of cinnamon powdered cinnamon for decorating Instructions: Bring the milk to a simmer with the cinnamon stick and the lemon peel; Once it starts simmering, add the rice and let it cook; While the rice cooks, mix the egg yolks and sugar; When the rice is done, turn off the heat. Turn the heat back on and cook until the custard thickens a bit. Pour it into whatever you want to serve it in and decorate with powdered cinnamon. You don't have to make any drawings or patterns with the cinnamon but it's more fun if you do! Enjoy!

Much more fancy than rice pudding I've had in the UK. I might try a recipe in the future.
They are both delicious and fun but you'll need a lot more time for the French one.
