To me, it seems that we are both enjoying this mod a lot. Now, you're right about how this mod has a vastly expansive map, however, you also mentioned that it's a lot easier and streamlined to play, which does kind of balance out the length of time required to do something here. Scotland was conquered almost immediately if you think about it. What if you set a smaller objective than conquering the entire map and set a number of episodes in which you'd attempt to complete it? This would become a fantastic mini series and there'll be a proper place where you could comfortably end it. Or you could rove around as you are doing and check out all the features of the mod. That's always fun and would do this mod justice. Either way, I'll be following this series.
I wouldn't mind watching you do a mini series on taking over all of Europe. If you want to continue you still hav r other continents. Or you can make separate mini series on starting in a different continents and working your way to be the ruler.

I haven't had any issues running this mod. I will put down what I did and maybe people that are having issues can see if they set up the same way. I am running Warband version 1.172. You will need to download the top 3 files from www.moddb.com/mods/16th-century/downloads. I extracted all to different folders before merging them. Copy 'updatepack 16th Century 1.521' to the main folder in '16th Century 1.51' and overwrite all and then do the same for 'V1.6 updated pack for 1.521' merge it into the main folder and overwrite all. Then put the main folder where you normally put your mods. I hope this helps at least one person out there. This really is quite a fun mod :)

Voper Senpai get the latest warband version, download all the files and install them in their release order, change the module name to 16th_Century and you are good to go
this mod is great but i got what seems to be a glitch that breaks the game. around day 100 something strange started to happen. my party capacity was around 200 and then when i tried to upgrade troops every upgrade would drop my party capacity by one. so instead of my party capacity getting bigger in like a week my party capacity dropped to like 130. It must be some sort of glitch because it makes no sense to put something like that in the game. let me know in the comments if someone has a solution or something because otherwise i have to stop playing just when it was getting interesting.

I can't seem to make this mod work at all. It crashes to desktop every time I enter a combat or tavern and such.

Calvary takes 2 party slots. That is the bottom item in the feature list. Maybe reducing the max size was how the developers simulated that?
