Ingredients:
puff pastry - 600 g (21.16 oz)
cheese cream - 300 g (10.6 oz)
garlic - 2 cloves
feta cheese - 200 g (7 oz)
pressed cheese - 100 g (3.5 oz)
parsley - 20 g (0.7 oz)
eggs - 1 piece
pressed cheese - 50 g (1.76 oz)
Tray size 30 X 40 cm (12 x 16 in)
IN THE OVEN 180 °C (356 °F) /25 minutes
for the sauce:
yolks - 4 pieces
melted butter - 100 g (3.5 oz)
lemon juice - 20 ml (0.7 fl oz)
milk - 50 ml (⅕ cup)
OVER LOW FIRE 2 minutes
spicy paprika - 2 g (0.07 oz)

I made these for a party. I actually made them a few days prior and froze them. Prior to baking I took them from the freezer, brushed with egg wash and added grated cheese then baked. They turned out great. So good.

It’s cream cheese. Feta taste better in my opinion.

@@catherineg9943 Well there really isn't any 1 "specifically pressed” It's basically a cheese that has been pressed to remove moisture, like cheddar, gouda or Gruyere, there are many, there's also a few different techniques to press cheese so basically it's open to a very large range of different cheeses. I've seen a couple other recipes using the term, It's a bit annoying because most folks don't know what it is and there are soo many options. Hope this was helpful.

Looks yummy 😋 try adding some shredded chicken or ham. I would also use a rolling pin on the pastry just to make it a little thinner for more even cooking.

I’ve made very similar but use fresh spinach. It’s SO good with the feta!

Thanks for the idea, I did however turn off the volume once I realized there was no talking, otherwise I never would've lasted the whole video. I made these as described here and they were tasty, I've also made them by switching up ingredients, the options are endless, yet delicious, Thanks again!

Yum! I would choose goats cheese instead of feta for a change and add shallots ( green onions). I have so many different ideas for fillings going through my head. Thank you for sharing this with us. 😊

Well Gouda isn’t in a block like that .. Mozzarella either …so it’s either a pale cheddar or a Lancashire or Wensleydale …but Lancashire and Wensleydale are not particularly common outside of Britain …so I would think it’s Cheddar. ..🤔🇬🇧
Mozzarella comes in blocks in the US,,,but mozzarella is soft and the cheese she is using looks harder than mozzarella ,,,I would like to know what cheese she is using also

@@elenistamatakis9246 They're using cream cheese (Philadephia), Greek Feta cheese and most likely cheddar cheese. For this recipe you could use whatever cheese you like. I would also use spring onions or chives in place of the parsley. This is one of these recipes you can adapt to whatever you want.
Pressed cheese would be grated cheese if you're in the UK like me or shredded cheese for our American friends 😊

I notice from the comments everyone is confused with cheeses! I guess the idea that you have used room temperature cream cheese as the base is a starting point. One can be creative and use what is available in their own country. Maybe I would use cheddar or goats cheese or maybe just a mixed veg ( blanched ofcourse and dried with sessoning of my choice). The base is a good start and pne can be creative.

Way too much pastry! If you look very carefully you will see that the rolled up pastry that is in the center of these is still raw! You simply can not cook these fully without burning the outer pastry or having raw pastry in the middle. You need to use far less pastry and much thinner pastry to get this cooked correctly!
I watched twice and didn’t notice raw pastry. I maybe wrong but could it be the melted cheese your looking it. I will watch again.
I totally agree, need to roll out pastry thiner use less cheese. It seems like dough and cheese. No thanks.😛
I was thinking the same thing and was wondering if l could find a comment regarding this matter from someone who already tried the recipe. I love baking with the store bought pastry dough but since they are not all the same I use one brand for Napoleon cake and a different one for the feta cheese pastry ( or cherry filled). It’s just amazing! I make it cream large triangle shaped folded ( pressing the edges very well). I doubt it that the center is baked if it’s being rolled the way it’s done in this video. Also I’m thinking the “pressed “cheese on top would probably turn golden sooner than it’s taking the roll to bake .
Cut into half inch slices, then bake as pinwheels
I have had a similar result...I found you have to slice the rolls much thinner than you see here...but once that is corrected I'm sure they are delish....
