I was always told that once you roll it, to freeze it for about 10-15 minutes(so the pastry is a little more solid) before you cut it. Helps it hold it's shape.
My go to recipe is spread Vegemite on the pastry scatter over cooked finely chopped onion and bacon and shredded cheese. Trust me its delish but go easy on the Vegemite a little goes a long way
My favorite is the vegetarian one you made. Sounds great 👍. Thank you for thinking about vegetarians. I am vegan over 90 % of the time or more. If I am unable to find everything I need to make it totally vegan, I am very tempted to try vegetarian when making it for friends.
