Economy cars in rally dress/ trim are my favorite. It’s more fun to push a slow car to go fast.
This things are not slow at all
Also, Economy cars are naturally lighter (and made even lighter) thus handle better and don't need crazy Horsepower levels.

ANTI-LAG & LAUNCH CONTROL
Rally cars use "old school" mechanical anti-lag, some kind of by-pass to get fuel-air mixture to combust inside the exhaust to keep the turbo spinning (spooled), whereas F1 cars have a more sophisticated system, namely MGU-H that precisely controls turbo speed.
This means that power is there as soon as driver demands, mid-corner, so in rally, anti-lag is arguably more important due to changing grip levels and constant on/off throttle.

When a new wrc season is about to start is probably the best time of the year. It's so much excitement and that Monte and Sweden are kicking the season of with very cold tempetures just makes it so exciting and I just love it😍 Can't wait for Rally Sweden 2020 because I'll be there again!

It's WRC's business. Manufacturers want to show thru rally how good their production cars are - although, yes, WRCs are more modified and far away from their respective stock versions than, for example, R5s. Yet I don't think I really understood what you meant.
@@zwjna That's exactly what i meant. Modern WRC cars have nothing common with road cars besides chassis. And even that is heavily modified. Now it's just race of prototypes. Like F1, nascar etc. That's not we love rally for.
@@gdzllr8775 R5's don't have much in common with their road going counterparts either. Even on a "production" type rally car, almost everything has been touched or changed.
