If anything, speed wise, these new cars a bit of a downgrade, but better cost budgets, more work from manufactures and more manufactures in general would help the sport greatly.
Yes, the sport just needs more teams. And without such a development of technology, which will throw out gasoline engines and completely replace them with electric ones. Then it wouldn't be a rally anymore...
All the tires have barcodes that officials can scan to make sure they aren't trying to fit different tires they left the service park with, or aren't controlled by FIA.
Previous WRC Yaris has aerodynamic fins behind the back wheel and seems help a lot for high speed turn and stability. Current model is also good but it seems to me slower than 2019 - 2020 models .. my humble opinion and personal observation ..
These modern day cars are honestly so good. Fast, cool looking and with impressive technology. The sport just needs more manufacturers.
And privateers
I wish Citroen would enter the main game again 😢

The launch of those cars are insane Cape Town South Africa 🌍♥️
Love how you can see on Pierres Puma at the end, how the rain tire spins while slick doesnt.
These cars are freaking insane you can only truly appreciate them live though
What is the rear pipe related to? Seems like a mini exhaust
I think it's battery cooling system related.
@@lucasracingcollection thanks for the reply. Very impressive cars, small and nimble. Still miss the Imprezas though 😢
Fords dont have that!
@@nickapostolou3656 Maybe, in the case of the Fords, the battery is cooled with that fan in the middle

They are slower, but these regulations are meant to be simpler so more manufacturers can enter the sport

I don’t get how the people next to it don’t have over ears on either. I’d double up at least for the launches.
Usted sabe lo costoso q es tener un elicoptero en el aire ? Eso demuetra la gran suma de dinero...q mueve el rally
True but drones will soon replace helicopters for such events.

Can we all appreciate the referee with no ear protection whatsoever using his finger instead!
They have to go without it's the rally way
