Since landing W. Luartha, I have fallen in love with wind on this game. Got Leela and Jeume. Anti-evasion meta is another selling point. Went for her and the card. Will see what I can save for Celes and call it a day!
Great video! I managed to get her on my first pull (wasn't actually planning on pulling for her, but bought the starter pack and said why not) and now I'm excited to get her built and go hunt some Jelenas.
I pulled for her because I got screwed on the HLL banner and didn't have visore for Luartha. My wind team was falling behind pretty badly, so I'm hoping she will help me out on that front. Or at the very least she seems like she'd be pretty good in rainbow teams.
i'm wind main too but have skip w.luartha and jeume for Ibara was 1st oni character add to game was plane to skip moor and get that vc but change my main after see here kit and she gone work so good with my h.leela and k.mont and here VC is bouns i get both of them
Yup, I also don't have Jeume and that is a HUGE power void for Wind right now if you don't have her...I may end up shifting to water main when I get Celes and if I can pull Alstoria (I have a handful of maxed water cards). Thanks again for watching Saif!

Congrats! I think any rotation of the "big 4" (Jeume, Leela, Luartha, Moore) will be highly effective, and Varush can even rotate in. I do still think 2B/Tifa is an effective pair also, but not so much against Light/Dark magic blasters. But, for example, I think 2B/Tifa will walk on Celes/Alstoria.
Is Apothecary that much stronger then White mage(ff7) ? No one has mentioned that Wind Aerith is Aerith without the healing and low AGI for a little more beef and debuffs. (Aeriths biggest downside is an inferior AI) I understand that she counters the meta and fills a needed role for wind and therefor she will be good for now but she isn't as game breaking as people say and once the meta shifts she will fall out of use.
I’m skipping Moore the Merrier just cuz Celes is so close and I already got the Miranda VC for her and a lot are saying that Celes can be a counter to Moore the Merrier if Runic+ works on Moore’s attacks and also my account is heading in the water direction that started with Lara Croft and I plan to have a Guild Battle team in the future with Lara, Celes, and Astoria/Pharm
@@taylorlow3982 even so Celes is still gonna be a pain for her and I think there is just more value in a unit like Celes than there is in Moore the Merrier cuz Runic Blade + just shuts down so many magic units.

Celes might not be so prevalent since ppl have pulled Ibara + Cloud, especially Fred + Cloud combo is still powerful with Charlotte as their tank.Tho in JP side, water meta is on till now, but for GL, with GL units, could be diff. And the real GL unit has not released yet, and could be another potential indirect counter to water teams (another 2 months)
@@taylorlow3982 on Global water has more staying power imo cuz we have VCs like “Thanks for the Votes”, and “25 Years of Tomb Raiding” as well as Lara Croft who could be a headache when TMR enhancements come cuz she’s already really evasive as a unit and TMR enhancements are just gonna amplify that and on JP Astoria is still a force to be reckoned with and water has better survivability against Lightning because of the Miranda VC which is also the BiS card for Celes

Not interested in water cus I dont have strong water VCs, I dont even have water moore tbh, no Tidus cus I came after ff10 collab, so lost out. At least I have a good windroster to pair with Tifa for now. Saving vis for the next meta unit.

MooreTM will not be a good choice *directly* against Celes since Runic works against her offensive abilities. Keep in mind that MooreTM has an LB that CANNOT be blocked with Runic and will be auto-silence on a 97 Faith Celes. She will have to use her TMR to nullify Silence. I do think 2B/Tifa will cause major problems for Celes/Alstoria. Their kits are based around SPR, Magic Resist, and Slash Resist. Both are weak to strike. All this said, I think Moore makes it much easier to defeat Jayden/Engel/Elena and win against Wind by neutralizing Jeume. I think Wind already has the tools without MooreTM to deal with Celes/Alstroia ;)
I'm really intrigued about her kit and power level now but I only have Jeume and Tifa at 120 in my wind roster along with a Varush that's in slow build mode because I skipped 2b and Hallowleela. Think it's worth to pull her? Also the cowboys defense could probably take a tiger in the octagon but dak would just end up choking the match away for them and McCarthy would waste a timeout ✌️
I don't think Gumi thinks they made a mistake with the light meta at all, else they wouldn't have made Locke and Violet so good. Elena was out and if full effect in GL long before those units were finalized and released in JP, and they made them that good anyway. Now, they're going to be even stronger in GL with Elena/Elena VC/GL buffs on light units, unless we see our first ever GL DEbuffs. As for her slaying Engelbert/Elena.. time will tell. Engel can heal back her poison ticks, and Elena I think has slightly better range and can still one-shot her, especially when she's distracted by Engel.
2 months in. Pulled Jeume. Working on Ayaka. Have lv.102 Lu'Cia. Also have Typhon and Ahrimon. Is this Moore a better pull than waiting for Cetia? Is mono-wind a good way to move forward?
I would say with this account you have going, don't get baited by Cetia! Mono-wind can work, especially if you have Jeume. If you get the chance to pick up a UR Select ticket (either paid or otherwise), Varush would be a solid addition. Even Jeume, Varush, Ayaka can be a competitive team. If you somehow manage to get Moore the Merrier, Jeume + Moore + (any 3rd) will be STRONG!
Is she worth to pull without jeume and h.leela? I do have lucia, varush, ayaka, 2b, and tifa. I really like her design but too scared to pull 😂 And I'm skipping setia, so if I pull for her, can I recover for celes and astoria? Or just skip and save? I already saved up 43k vis.
Despite the current OP wind buffs on GvG map, I'm still expecting to see mostly mono light/dark teams on top 10 GvG defense. She will surely help wind teams on offense have an extra tool in their kit. Meta defining? Not quite. We shouldn't immediately jump to "gumi admitted they made a mistake" when they change map buffs to promote a new unit, because they have always done this. Let's recognize the pattern for what it is....a temporary incentive to sell a unit that may have a *very* limited shelf life. -humble opinion from a rank 2 GvG guy
I disagree with your take that it's to deal with light evasion team. She has an easier time to kill evasion team due to accuracy, and it's not just light team. She's definitely not a light killer, but more of a gambler unit vs Mono-Light team. S.Kilphe - 50% Resist to Sleep Elena - 50% Resist to Sleep Jayden - 50% Resist to Poison Yuna - 50% Resist to Silence If you look at her health, she is as squishy as Little Leela (Halloween) who is constantly getting 1 shot by any damage dealer without any barrier. This is why the additional buff from Life of Longevity and Prosperity does not matter, because she will die and revive before her turn again. This is why you really need to consider having the Mind Over Magic over the Slow Counter if you don't give her a damage mitigation ability to survive getting 1-shot. She does not have the evasion that LLH has! The other options is having a Tank to keep the enemy off her, but be wary of her getting AoE in 1-shot. Having say that, Duane, and the upcoming fire warrior crystal is a huge threat to her. They both have ability that can removes auto-revive, and can potentially 1-shot her if you don't have someone to protect her. All her breaks are all gamble that rely on her target to get poison, otherwise they become ordinary damage ability. As a wind account user, I am definitely going to pull for her regardless. I still think people are making a huge case out of her, as she has obvious weaknesses/flaws.
I pulled her on step 8 of 9 steps, anyway i always build the aim version for weapons i think it's a waste on the armor & accessory slot for an accuracy.

Yes. Especially with Golbez who benefits from the status effects and can extend both Poison and Silence duration!
Jeume + Leela + WLua beats Elena+Jayden+Engle almost everytime if you set Jeume up for magic res and WLua for ACC.

There's no doubt her kit is designed specifically with Elena/Engel in mind. That said, will we start seeing Engelbert with Marshmallow Miniature? 🤫

I really don't like these "20% resistance against an element that you were already dominating". All elements should be able to defeat any elements.
I know Dryff likes to be a F2P dude, but wind is heavily limited. I use Jueme, HLL, Wntr Luartha and wreck all earth and general phys teams.
