- Facundo Campazzo is reportedly signing a one-year deal with the Mavs. He will be reunited with Luka Doncic, who he played with at Real Madrid back in 2017-18 when they won the EuroLeague and ACB championships. Facu will provide ball-handling and playmaking skills to the Mavs as a backup point.

Suprised he was a free agent. He ran alot of Denvers offense last year. Will feel great about him running the offense off the bench.
He probably is filling the same role as Trey Burke, so prob no regular minutes. Which is good, most Denver fans say he is a liability anyways when played too much.

Always went over screens. I guess it’s possible he’s the backup ahead of Frankie if Ntilikina falls on his face but since Denver didn’t want him back that says a lot about his value in the league.

@@onlyfacts3178 he’s definitely among the leagues best passers. Just look at his plus minus numbers in games he played more than 20 minutes. When things are stagnant they will bring him in to change the tempo on both ends of the court. He’s still a below league average shooter, defender and is a terrible size mismatch even against the leagues smallest point guards but he does bring something different and I agree he’s a great fit on this team, even better than Dragic. Don’t get fooled though. He’s not a guy you can play heavy minutes in playoff games. That’s a bridge too far.

Los pocos partidos que lo dejaron manejar la ofensiva se vió lo mejor de facu. Es un gran ball handler. Sus compañeros se van a cansar de anotar con sus pases. Además es insoportable en defensa. Ojalá se pueda lucir en los Mavericks, pero me parece que por ahí los argentinos le pedimos a la nba que se adapte a Facu y no funciona así. En fijate en brooklyn por ejemplo cuando patty mills compartía cancha con Irving se tenía que quedar en una esquina y tirar si le caia en las manos. Y todo el mundo entiende que ese es el rol que tiene que cumplir. Dicho esto ojalá veamos lo mejor de Campazzo

I hope nuggets regret it like the lakers did with Carusso. Campazzo is a pure old school, pass first pg and ended up with a horrible coach that uses his big man as a passer/ ball handler, while expecting the other 4 dudes to just make threes. I feel bad for Jokic, he needs to go asap.

Facundo its a player for Europe. He isnt for the NBA...Even he doesnt have the level to make Argentina qualify in the World Cup.
He is just an overrated player with some good passing skills...nothing so special knowing how many european players have that kind of "passing and vision" skills

He's definitely a better playmaker/ball handler than Green/Frank/Hardy right now.
He's like JJ Barea in this highlights. Doesn't throw a lot of lob pass though, at least in this highlight.
Surprised he had some defensive highlights as well. Shows he gives effort on defense, he has some quick hands to swat away the ball from the defender.
Can see him if play if we need to change the pace and inject some energy in the game. He's good as an insurance pg.

Ohhhh. He's feisty on defense and a creative passer. His shooting percentages and size tell me he's limited on both sides of the ball, but he'll be a great low minute 3rd point guard for the Mavs.

He came to the NBA with the Euroleague playstyle where he need to have the ball the mayority of the posesion and distribute the game. Sadly thats difficult with Jokic in Denver cause he is the one who controls the game and tempo. I hope he can really shine in Dallas alongside with his Real Madrid partner Luka

He is a very complete player, with a lot of iq, with understanding of the whole game, always dedicated to the team. In Denver he started well and then they pushed him to the side to wait for the shot, with that role he did not feel comfortable and he got frustrated. The Denver Nuggets don't have a great team game and that didn't work in their favor.
But he is a great player, a winner who came to the NBA winning everything that came his way. Now he has another chance in Dallas and at least I think he's going to add a lot to Dallas! What's more
let's keep in mind that he charges a minimum contract for a 3rd year player, in relation to cost / quality it is a huge gain !! Great player
It will be very useful for the rotation in Dallas, remember!
