Do you have a setup sheet to show what oil weight and the number of piston holes for each corner?

I do have setups. If you hit us up on Facebook I can work with you

One of the best rebuild videos I've seen, but what are the differences between 1, 2, and 3 hole pistons and how would different pistons help on a oval track?
    Thanks, new subscriber here...

Thanks! It’s good to know these videos do help out racers.
One thing that I’m trying to do for the new year, is a better shock video and get into more depth.
Generally, piston holes go like this:
1 hole piston smooth, high bite tracks. Asphalt, hard packed dirt/clay tracks
2 hole piston, typical at most tracks that are smooth yet still are considered a loose dirt situation
3 hole piston, rough tracks, loose dirt.
Typically, you’ll see cross weight setups with a 3 hole piston on the right front and left rear. This lets the right front dig in and get the car to rotate around the right front
2 holes will be used on the left front and right rear. The right rear you want a bit stiffer, so the right rear looses traction and doesn’t stick too hard on exit, sticking too much will make the car push.
The focus is really to get the car to rotate on the right front tire and keep the car sliding around it, without loosing stability and control.
The cars really like the 2/3 hole combo, with lite weight oils on the right front and left rear. While the left front and right rear use heavy oils to reduce traction.
I’m usually using a cross weight setup of:
      LF/RR 2 hole, 70 weight oil
      RF/RR 3 hole, 20 weight oil
      Front .55” limiter
      Rear .75” limiter
Keep some cut springs on hand for the front. Everything from stock to up to 5 coils cut.
Plus tires… anything you can do to make the harder compound stock tires work, the better. Less rolling resistance over s1 compounds.

Ok Aaron. You missed a very important point on the piston. The round side of the piston up or the flat side of the piston up?

Round side up! Yeah. I want to do another video just on shocks. Working on a bearing one right now. But good to have input on things to include. Thanks

You also should have measured the overall length of the shocks before you took them apart. When you put the end of the shock on, you may have not got the correct length when you screwed it in. That's why you measure it. It's also a quick adjustment on the fly. If you need to make your shock a little longer or shorter by screwing it in or out.

It does make a difference on which side of the piston you put up or down. I didn't think so at first but it does.
