I finally decided to purchase the A5x and found out they are sold out. I think permanently. Hopefully a new launch comes sooner than later as I am just dying to try one of these.

I must tell that I write more and more every day than in the past with the real paper notes and this device is happily forces me to write !!! I just love it !!!
Great list. I'd add document organization and customer support. My first device was defective, and they quickly replaced it. As for organization, their titles, stars, and keywords are fantastic. I do not regret buying this device.
I struggled for weeks to make my purchase of the Supernote A5X when I saw what other e-ink devices could do for sometimes, less money, but understanding that my Macbook Air could already out perform all of those devices I jumped in with both feet when I discovered the note taking ability of the Supernote, because my main driver was from the beginning to review my writing and take notes while watching video lessons. The way the Supernote allows you to create a table of contents in hand written notes is such a great feature, and its notebook/file management only complements it. If you are a looking to be productive and not entertained, the Supernote is the device you've been looking for however, as with all devices... you have to commit yourself to it else in the early days you'll miss out on its productivity by _'reverting to type',_ when refusing to suffer the slightest inconvenience you put it aside to take up paper and pen. It certainly isn't a cheap device to purchase here in the UK, but I've never been more convinced that I've made the right decision... and the software updates only make the device better and better.
You can specify any lines, dots, or background you want. As such, as long as you can diagram, the Supernote is a great for free-form diagramming. I use it to think, and then use a more formal vector-based image program to make shareable diagrams.
Is there any difference in performance between the Supernote A5X or the A6X? I'm really leaning toward the smaller size so I can pack it around in my purse like I do my current notebooks. I'd love to see a real-time comparison between those two.
Yep, you have an option to share the screen direct to an http address on the same network that the supernote is on. Simply book mark that in your browser and share, super easy!
I want three things in a device - a digital planner that allows me to find and index notes, a good reader - I use Kindle, and a way to access google calendar at work. Will this work ? And does it connect to a bluetooth keyboard ?
How well can you organize your notes? I want to purchase a device that can take notes but organize it into folders and sub folders. Let me know if this is capable of doing this. Thanks
Hiya, I'm not 100% sure. I think it might be best to ask supernote directly, they are very responsive on Facebook and Reddit. I think I've heard that it's not great on languages other than English and a few other big ones. Sorry!
I really like Supernote A5X but what about the T&C and privacy? I cannot find any information about which data the device sends to the supernate servers. When you turn on the supernate device, do you accept any T&C? Do you know where I can find the T&C and privacy policy of the supernate device? (FYI in the supernote website you can only find legal info related to the website and sales policy but no legal info related to the device)
I seem to be in the minority here but like some of the other people commenting, I looked at this video and many others before committing to a Supernote A5X, which on the whole I’m happy with. However, I am getting some bad behaviour - when I first start to use it each morning (20 mins or so) I get a lot of “shadowing” not sure of the technical term, sure there will be one - meaning that I get lines appearing in the wrong place when the nib of the pen IS NOT actually touching the screen. Also, during this early period of usage, toggling between functions does not work well either, pen nib seemingly not recognised in the right area of the screen. Not sure if any other users have experienced this and might have suggestions to resolve…? Thanks.
Thanks Bob, I fear you’re right. Just a watch out that Supernote are currently only sold buy a European sales agent (I think) so after sales support seems to be lacking. Please someone tell me otherwise if I’m wrong.
I own a Supernote A5X. Kitt, you're practicing a bit of propaganda when it comes to the writing feel. It's honestly not that good, and I have many pens. Best pen is probably the Lamy, rather than the HoM. I think people should try out a few devices before they make the plunge with the A5X, because they might not like the feel. It's a bit rubbery. I will say that the pros (Titles, Keywords, Annotations, Digest) outweigh the cons (rubbery feel, no backlight, heavy), but I kinda wish I had gone with a Boox NA2+.

There is no difference in performance. There is no difference at all between the two devices, except of the screen size.
Honestly, at this point it’s gotten so good that I have mine set on the single finger gesture for turning pages. Rarely ever got accidental turns.

You have to be online when you first make a new background recognition notebook, but then it works offline.

Maybe your device is broken. You might need to send it back and replace it. I don't have a supernote myself so I am not talking from experience.
