Hi Bert, really enjoying the videos hoping you’ve got some more of the 2024 season. Looking to get into this myself and these videos really helped so thank you
@@preecelightnin5795 it was close! My team manager thought I clipped the wall, said he pulled his head out of the gap. Bit dramatic watching back, I wasn’t as close as Hamilton was vs Max 2021 but still, very hectic restart for amateurs
@@povdrivekls8369 yes my car. I did a video on the costs, how to get into it and how expensive it is! Check my channel out. It’s not cheap mate but worth every penny
@@squarterman8807 lol good one! To be competitive, they last one race weekend (Quali and Races only, not testing). In my first season, I never had new tyres, always ran on old. A set could last 3 weekends but you’ll struggle on them! New set is 1 second gain at the front
@ChapmansCorner because I'm 16 at the moment gonna start karting this month and I have been looking for open wheel formula raceing (we have the money) but I'd be starting alot later compared to the other drivers can I have the championship name?
@@joshuanewland5309 why did you say older? You’re very young, half my age? I would do a few years of karting before attempting F1000 or F3, there is a lot to learn and these are extremely quick. Karting will teach you the car and racing fundamentals. This series is MonoPosto
@ChapmansCorner I said I'm older because I see all the 15 year old f4 drivers and by the time I'm competitive enough I'd be a adult racing against 15y olds but thanks for the help you got a new follower and you might see me at the club 100 ;)
@@joshuanewland5309 haha yeah tell me about it mate! I’m racing against 17 year olds at 32, and I only started racing last year. I think GB4 and F4 are developmental series so very different to my F1000 championship and MonoPosto which is more for fun. Good luck, see you around
@@ChapmansCorner I ran in Colorado mainly, life got back at me, but I'm super glad I got to do it, I loved racing Evos etc. but open wheel full aero cars are what mankind should strive towards.

@@golfhunter6576 thanks! Yes I’ve got all the races from this season, check out the 2024 playlist
My, my. That restart after the safety car was close! 😅 Great video as always.

Good job mate.
This is your car ? Or you just drive ? How do you get into racing driving ? It is expensive?

You mention your tyres going off towards the end - how many races does a set last? Is it one set per year?

@@squarterman8807 £1,050 for a set

Can i be an older driver and own and race my own f3 car recreationally?
@@joshuanewland5309 absolutely! Most of the drivers are older gents and most own their own car

@@ChapmansCorner Nice, I ran a F1000 for. a few seasons over here, and was looking at how they stacked up to F3s, good stuff.
@@topfeedcoco where are you based sorry? Good to meet someone else who’s driven an F1000
