    I love your techniques, i would like to ask how you get the General chalk pencil off, especially on canvas and rocks. I have found round pencils of soapstones. They can sharpen in a pencil sharpener, fit in a protractor and last forever. A damp Q-tip or a kneaded eraser works much better. The lines literally melt off. Hope you don’t mind the tip? You have inspired me to no end. Thanks!

    Hi, I am wondering if you could help me answer this question...I am using a white background for my next mandala and I can't seem to find a washable darker colored tool/pencil to draw my grid, I am looking for something with a fine tip...do you have any suggestions and possibly a brand you would suggest? I have been looking everywhere and can't seem to find anyone talking about this. Thanks for your time and help 🙂

    Did you put anything on the qtip to remove the paint? I didn’t hear that part. I used metallic paint and it kinda smudged 😬

    How often do you wipe your tool off , I’m finding that if I don’t wipe it each time the dots are getting bigger than the one before.

    Hey! The mandala looked amazing. You make it look so easy. Could you please tell how to make those plaster rocks at home? The place where I live, they don’t really have natural stones and there’s literally no way for me to order. I’m broke 😢

      I don’t make mine, I buy them from TheRockShopCo on Etsy!

      Happy Dotting Company is on TH-cam. She has videos showing you how to make rocks.
      On Amazon she sells the molds and supplies for rock making.

    when dotting if there are different brands of paint you like can you use them in the same design you are doing? like the stone you are now? like if you needed a colour one brand didnt have

    • @thoughtfuldots
      @thoughtfuldots  ปีที่แล้ว

      Of course! You can use whatever you’d like ☺️

  • @Rose-zz1oe

    Beginner beginner here. Wouldn’t those paint pots with covers be better so paint doesn’t dry as your working because the paint is in smaller area? Probably have to add more frequently. Thoughts?

    • @thoughtfuldots
      @thoughtfuldots  ปีที่แล้ว

      I only use the big paint pots for larger projects. This is so small that it goes quickly for me and therefore doesn’t need pots. You can if you want!

    Do you varnish your ornaments with triple thick also

    • @thoughtfuldots
      @thoughtfuldots  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I am not sure what you mean by ornaments? Like Christmas ornaments? I have never painted any.

    i use deco art but to me the gold is really runny. some colours u use cant get no more

    • @thoughtfuldots
      @thoughtfuldots  ปีที่แล้ว

      You can add a little bit of gel medium to thicken up runny paint! I like Liquitex brand ♥️
