Wow! It's beautiful! I have to admit that I was happy when the light was turned on. Because this process was so relaxing and calming for me, I almost fell asleep. It's great, I will watch this again when I need to calm down. ;-) And some day I will also start with dotting. For now I'm happy with watching.

Hi I noticed you used chalk ink rather than pencil. Is it easy to get off at the end? I’m very new to this art and I’ve been using a chalk pencil or a white watercolour pencil and wipe it off with a wet q tip when I’m finished. Yours looked so much easier to use.
MAKE IT STH LIKE COLOR WHEEL COLOR COMBINATION
RED YELLOW BLUEE, FIRST HALF , LATER GREEN ,VIOLET , ORANGE , THEN OTHER HALF TERTIARY COLORS .

Hi Ellen. Welcome to the addiction. 😆 Since the ball heads don't list sizes, it's probably not helpful. With just a little bit of practice, you can quickly become a good judge of what size to use to fit the particular spacing you need. It varies so much based on your pattern size and distance apart or away from the center, that it's hard to share sizes in a way that makes sense unless we're all using the exact same template and tools. But, don't worry. You'll be able to hold your tool up to your rock pattern soon and judge if it will fit without touchig the dot next to it soon! ❤️❤️❤️ Thanks so much for joining us!

This is Beautiful !! First time I've ever seen this. Is it paint & if so, does it dry hard? How do you graduate from a larg(er) dot to a smaller dot with the same - pen? Where do you get the patterns that you layed down initially? If you have a video that explains how you make these I'd love to watch it. Also, what did you use to cover the book in black & cover the remainder of the white 'outline' of the design? Thank you.😊

Could this be done with resin as well so it would be less likely to peel or flake? Like a UV resin so it doesn't set right away, but can be "fastened" quickly while working on it if wanted?

Hey there! Thank yyou for this video. I have a concern. I made an acrylic painting on one of my registers some time ago and later, after it had dried up, I had to close it up and pack it, but when I took it back out, it was stuck to the other things, and half the paint had come off. Is there a reason for this do you know? Are there any prerequisites for the type of journal cover? Material or something?? Thanks.
I'm so sorry this happened to you. I would suggest always protecting any painted work with a sheet of parchment paper, which will prevent the sticking problem but probably will still get damaged from being bumped/scraped. Also, using multi-purpose paint will help it to adhere securely (I use FolkArt brand). You can also seal it when it's completely dry, which will also help to protect it.
@@LLCreativeStudios seal it with what?? Varnish? Or lacquer spray?? If I remember correctly I didn't use either... Also would you recommend some specific "foundational background" before painting? For example layering it with tissue paper with white glue, or using gesso on the bottom most layer? Something of that sort???
And about parchment paper covering... I'm confused. It's a journal cover... Parchment paper on top of a journal cover.... I mean I can do that while I have it in storage or whatever but what about any customers who may buy products I make in this way??

Sadly yes, making a mandala requires spinning -- either it or me.

The Tutorial is defenetly a little too fast
It is a time-lapse video, meant to be fast. If you'd like to see a real-time version, here is a link to the tutorial: th-cam.com/video/bcRpf1cZ9J0/w-d-xo.html. You can adjust how fast a TH-cam video plays by going to the video settings and changing the playback speed.
Imagine if they put a dot or two on the wrong line, that would of been annoying.
