You are on way to Maryland. No way. I would love to take a sneak peak of you van. I love it. At 68 years old I am still very active. After 20 years of the military I get on the road often for meetings to conferences. This is awesome if you will be in my part of the state of Maryland. I am above Baltimore in Edgewood. Have fun traveling and looking forward to your travels. Oh yeah the clam chowder looked fantastic.
One I like to cook is mince beef onions tinned tomatoes mushrooms baked beans Chop the onions and fry add the mince and brown then add the chopped mushrooms tinned tomatoes and baked beans heat and until hot then enjoy can also add garlic bread
for the foam cover over the fan you could have just trimmed it down a bit more so it fully inset inside the fan then use the foam from piece from the AC setup over the outside to hold it in and give it a bit more insulation, since when it comes to keeping out the cold more insulation is pretty much always better
if you don't have a bottom drain valve on that water heater...and used it to empty tank, then the tank is still full of water that could freeze because of the top exit ports we could see in the video....get a wet dry vac and make a tight connection on one of those ports and suck the water out to avoid it freezing and expanding.....just an observation
Favorite 1 pot meal, hands down: pot roast. So many different good recipes online. There is just something about walking in the house after work and you have a pot roast going. Low and slow for hours. Dude so good.
Here is a suggestion for your one pot meals. Invest in a crockpot and for easy clean ups there also liners for them. You can cook alot of things in them from stews to chicken that you can shred and make enchiladias with. Also look at investing into a small rice cooker. You can cook your rice and then add can chilli in it! Viola a meal.
Way too much power. It isn't feasible long term. It would drain a decent battery in a matter of minutes. As an example, a jackery 1500wh would drain in 3-5 minutes using a microwave.
Found your channel recently and I really enjoy watching your videos! How could anyone get tired of watching van life in San Diego? I’ve never been there but now I definitely need to go there!
Awesome video buddy. I love watching your videos man. I hope you have a nice safely driving back home to Maryland. I am a Truck 🚛 drivers & I have done that trip so many times man.
a very simple 1 pot meal that you can mod all you want to your tastes is chili its fast and can be scaled up or down depending on your needs , 1lb of ground beef(or any meat you prefer) in the pan browning first on high temp then add spices you prefer I usually just ad garlic powder and chili powder(no set amount this eyeball it depending on how much u like chili spice vs garlic ) also u and add and spice you would like at this point . then once the meat is brown add 3 cheese tomato sauce let it cook for a few min then add red kidney beans and corn kernels mixing it well and then just before u finish add onions (can be put over pasta or eaten by its self) Also if you are a cheese lover once cooked add shredded cheese of choice over it
Instead of adding that pipe just to take it off in the warmer months, you could add T-connections to with valves. That way its a simple bypass you can open and close whenever you need. Just a suggestion. Great videos. Just binged about 10 or so videos of yours.
Pepper steak with white rice is fast n easy. 🔥 love watching ur videos while i work my noc job ..time flys Ryan thank you..safe travels and ima continue watching the rest of ur vídeos 😂😊
Kudos on your winter preparation projects. Wow, no hot water this winter. I guess if you are going to Planet Fitness you don't need it. Make sure you drain your hot water tank. Safe travels. Most important, Ryan stay warm!

trying to catch up on your videos.... do you think you'll have to shut the water heater off every winter, or will you set up a way to keep it? also, was this the first/only time you've been told to move?
Hey Ryan loved the vid! I have a super good recipe for you its one I have had since I was a kid give it a shot! It's called Creamy Chicken One Pot 3 Chicken breasts 3 Colored bell peppers, small red 4 Garlic cloves 1 tsp Garlic powder 8 oz Mushrooms 1 tsp Onion powder 1/4 cup Parsley, fresh 1 1/4 tsp Rosemary, dried 1 1/4 tsp Thyme, 1/2 tsp Pepper 1/2 tsp Salt 1 tsp Oil 1 3/4 tbsp Butter 1 1/2 cup Cream 1/2 cup Parmesan Butterfly the chicken breast. In a bowl, mix dried herbs and spice powders. Sprinkle this mixture generously on both sides of the breast cutlets. Heat oil and butter together in a skillet over medium high heat. Place in the chicken cutlets, not overcrowding them. To sear them golden brown on both sides, they need a little space in between, otherwise they will steam. This will take about 7-8 minutes per side. Once you get a nice golden brown color, plate them out. In the same pan, melt more butter and sauté sliced mushrooms, bell pepper rings or strips, along with garlic, salt and pepper for a couple of minutes. Add in parsley, thyme and rosemary. Cook for a minute. In the same pan, melt more butter and sauté sliced mushrooms, bell pepper rings or strips, along with garlic, salt and pepper for a couple of minutes. Add in parsley, thyme and rosemary. Cook for a minute. In the same pan, melt more butter and sauté sliced mushrooms, bell pepper rings or strips, along with garlic, salt and pepper for a couple of minutes. Add in parsley, thyme and rosemary. Cook for a minute. Stir in cream and mix well, scraping any brown stickings left from the chicken off the bottom of the pan and into the sauce. Add in parmesan cheese, mix well and cook for a minute.Time to put the chicken into this delicious sauce, cover and cook for 5-6 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F. This won’t take much time, as the chicken is almost cooked. You are just cooking it fully and penetrating that wonderful sauce into the chicken. Taste and adjust salt and pepper to your liking. Garnish with more parsley and enjoy!!
For one pot meal- sliced potatoes/sliced onion/ bacon crumbled/ Bavarian sweet kraut and sliced kielbasa- yummy!
out of all the van builds I've seen, your van is my favorite, it's perfect design, looks great.

put some heat shrink over exposed wiring on the back side of your spade connectors.

I have a question. Have you ever considered a microwave? It would make reheating stuff way easier.
Dude ever thought about the amount of elec. this shit consumes

You could use some heated tape for the water heater and pipes.
U should make sure to use plumbers white teflon tape on the hose fittings, you tape it around the brass threads to prevent leaks down the road
They sell insulated covers for the vents online and at many many store that would just fit into that opening.
It’s cool to see the van life the pros and cons great upload

It doesn't even get cold in San Diego. You can wear shorts and sleep on a rock and be fine, Lol
you know they make USB 120mm fans but if those arent enough power you can get one that goes to a 110 outlet. those work, they'll remove your finger.

Did I just hear you say that you're gonna fist these wires through the fuse box?! 🤐😂
Hate that it’s Monday tomorrow, nice that there’s a vid Thu
Great video as usual
I would love to spent a vacation like this
You can try cooking chicken adobo, it's a one pot dish and also a filipino dish. You just have to pair it with rice tho.
Bro, you removed way too much insulation from those cables. You don't want exposed cable visible outside of those crimp connectors.
min 4:30 wth is that thing next to your head?:)) looks like an UAP/UFO
What the heck were you wearing at the beginning?? It was awesome!
I'm also dying to find out. Can't even think of a name
its called selk'bag lite
Fimblewinter is here
A fellow Game of Thrones fan, I see!
is that a rifle or a shotgun or something in the back of the van? I never noticed that before. I see what looks like a wooden stock?
I like the montage at the end!
I know that Home Depot, across is Target. Good camping spot in Home Depot.
What do you use for gaming on internet? Hotspot? Starlink?
