I came out to my mom as trans, we made an 1 hour long talk that went nowhere and I was grounded from my tablet for a week. I don't know why she did that because she is supportive, but it still confuses me.
That tends to happen, when I came out my parents looked through my phone and interrogated me on if my friends “made me trans”

11:45 I'm aro/ace and have felt the same way but I've never heard anyone else describe it that way so I started feeling it was just me. I know the term for such a close relationship is Zucchini but it still felt like I was alone. I have been around a lot of cis straight people so whenever I thought of explaining it, I could only imagine what they're reactions would be and I knew they wouldn't understand and that made me afraid that maybe I was wrong about being aromantic yet I have never felt attraction towards anybody and couldn't ever actually imagine myself with a real person. I understood what she was saying perfectly as that's how I viewed my aromanticism yet it just feels so confirming that someone else feels the same way. Sorry for rambling but this TikTok makes me very happy.

In college I had a NB Art History teacher and they were amazing. They were like a game show host and would tell stories about the artists and reasoning of what that time is like and they made it so engaging! I was never good at history but that class made me involved!

I wish I could relate, as of right now I'm dealing with parents who have unshakable faith in Jesus and therefore, are against gay people. I can't tell them how I really feel because they'll just try to gaslight me out of feeling that way and then say "come here for a hug, its okay." And make me hug them. The small things for me are what makes me happiest. Such as correctly gendering a non binary person in some of these videos such as the cake one “this is *their* first birthday since *they* picked *their* new name. Oftentimes you get bs like “she identifies as non binary and she uses they/them pronouns” and to me the biggest ally thing anybody can do is also the smallest such as gendering their non binary friends/family correctly.
