    Did the same thing for my car (almost). Except I used a catted downpipe. No intake just k&n drop in filter. Muffler is some cheap one from the shop but he said it sounds similar to the magnaflow just cheaper. I put up a video too.

    I’m thinking of doing the Downpipe and Ktune on my 2.0 too. Has cf hood and some lighter seats so it manages to beat a 1.5t idek how. I think I can somewhat compete with a stock si if I get those two mods done. I know it will still always be a slow economy car don’t flame me 😢

    Hey I got the 2.0l EX, curious of what muffler your using since the stock exhaust system is so unusually shaped? Would like to do the mods you got on yours. Already got that AEM, sounds great but as we all know, an intake alone won’t do nothing

  • @logankenney7321

    I personally wouldn’t bother putting a tuner and all that shit on a automatic car especially a CVT at that because it’s kinda pointless a CTV transmission can’t even handle much power anyways before it starts to slip the only thing they are good at is good gas mileage that’s it

    • @zb9568
      @zb9568  4 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      @@logankenney7321 cvts are trash compared to regular autos yes that is true generally speaking, but this car with such mods is still going strong with no trans problems. Also if you search more about this car on forums, you will know that the cvt on this is pretty damn solid and good for 300hp easily. Also the ktuner and downpipe really helps with the down low range which makes the tranny very responsive.
      Given that, if I had to choose between a cvt and auto again, I will choose manual no questions asked. This was first car purchased without doing much research.

    • @xjossee
      @xjossee 4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      I have the EX-T CVT and I’m pushing over 250HP. Stock was 175. I have stage 2 tune, intercooler, intake, exhaust, and let me tell you, I’ve gapped a lot of cars, including Subarus. My civic is handling the power very well with no slipping. I know I can’t go very much further in terms of power than where I am right now because it’s a CVT, but for an automatic 1.5L Civic, it’s a beast. On top, I can still get 40mpg on long drives. Can’t say that about a lot of cars. My next car is definitely be manual or non-CVT. This civic, I plan on leaving it in family and not trading in.
