Judge Allen K. Hoe Discusses His Experiences During the Vietnam War

In recognition of Asian/Pacific American Heritage Month, this video highlights the wartime experiences of Mr. Allen K. Hoe. He served the United States with honor and distinction as a combat medic with a Recon Platoon, 2nd Battalion, 1st Infantry Regiment during the Vietnam War.
Mr. Hoe is also a Gold-Star Father. The narrative of his unique experiences give prominence to the sacrifice of all Gold-Star Families during a difficult time in our Nation's history, and it is a testament to their courage and patriotism. The United States of America Vietnam War Commemoration joins the Nation in honoring the sacrifices and celebrating the accomplishments of all Asian/Pacific Americans serving in the United States military.
