      It’s honestly sick that you’re using military deaths to gain followers/subscribers ..
      It’s one thing to post the video, cause it does gain recognition for the person that died serving our country, but to post in the comments “like, share and subscribe so you don’t miss any more of our shameless posts that were only putting up to get content and followers” .. fuckin shame on you…

      An aerial escort of a fixed wing drone or even a rotary escort like an apache or kiowa (back in the day) would not prevent a random RPG threat against a 60 or 47. Thry could potentially deter an otherwise uncomitted threat, but if someone wants to shoot down a blackhawk and they dont care about survival, they will do it. A fighter escort would do even less than a rotary wing escort in the type of situation being referred to. I don't know what exactly you think an escort does but in terms of protection from ground threats, you aren't gonna get a reasonable benefit spending a quarter million in fuel to protect a Chinook with a raptor. Makes no sense. That's why we don't do it, it's pointless. (Source:former 64 pilot)

      Most do then we get home and big brother does nothing to help us after the combat. They spend so much time n $ making us killers but not the same on being back in the civilian world. It's sad we send 80 million a week to Taliban. That's who we fought against. Now we pay them. Left them billions in gear, guns, aircraft, Vic's. But we can't help veterans. Shouldn't be a single vet who needs anything to live a basic life. We spend so much in wrong places. Semper Fi

    Many medics and surgeons went through a lot of psychological trauma over there. In 2005, in western Iraq, the Medivac helicopters would be flying in severely wounded military personnel on an hourly basis, 24 hours a day. • @jst2708
      @jst2708 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @benwilms3942 What I'm saying is that most people don't know what the family's or service member goes through.
      There are a lot of people who I have talked to & they're so clueless about it
      I even had some tell me. "Well, just tell your commander officer that you're not going to obey that command because you don't want to."
      Most only have an idea about what the military really does & a lot of that comes from the news or movies, so in reality, they haven't a clue
      When deployed, the family's are told nothing about what is going on, nor will they get told the truth if your loved 1 get killed. The military will claim national security reasons
      There is 1 Mos that he might go to work & not come home until it's over & the family won't be told much if anything. He just didn't come home. That's how the family knows he deployed.
      It's much better nowadays than in the past, though. We have many more ways to communicate & that helps. But again, the public really doesn't know or understand what the military is & what's it about

    I did two Combat tours with the US Army , one in Iraq and one in Afghanistan . Every one responds differently to stress . Just remember, we all knew and accepted the inherent risk with our profession when we took the oath of enlistment. We are / were Soldiers tasked with enforcing justice in an evil world . Rest assured, dying is but one thing to lament , all of us are going to transition into eternity, we don't want loved ones to lament in sorrow at our passing , just as transitioned loved ones don't want us lamenting theirs . Lead by example, and create good memories 😊 .

    If this was the CH-47 shoot down in November 2003 then those were my flight crews and quite a few soldiers. I was on that same aircraft on the same route and mission the day before.

      I think they’re referring to a 101st airborne black hawk that was shot down in nov 2003 near Tikrit, like a kilometre from Saddams palace and former US base I was reading.

    I have the utmost respect for this type of soldier, everyone else can turn away, that kinda devastating injury, this continued exposure to the devastated victims , the injury, the screaming and guttral cries you can't escape needs strong calm calculated specific training and this lady is showing the WORLD how much she is needed ! sending you love and blessings but more importantly respect, from Glasgow Scotland UK 🇬🇧❤
