isn't 7.1 necessary tho? i just Broke my Hyperx cloud 2s and been trying some new models at tech shops. those that dont have 7.1 sound so bad, compared to my cloud 2 or even other headphones that had 7.1 at the shop.
Regular headphones with dolby atmos (a 15-20$ program that you have for life) and you will have a 10x better audial/spatial awareness. I say this as someone with a logitech g935 headset. Even with the built in surround features, atmos was a massive game changer. So much in fact that I uninstalled the Ghub software because it’s an absolute joke. The audio from 7.1 is terrible in comparison. Like another commenter said, it’s a gimick. Shit I’d rather use a 10yo pair of apple ear buds with atmos than my $150 headset with 7.1 surround.
Of all the headsets here i would highly recommend you get the razer blackshark as its the most premium feeling and by far best gaming, but iems will always sound better than headsets of this price range
@@anilgela9899 true but some iem’s come with microphones that actually sound quite decent. Honestly just depends if you prefer the comfort and build of a headset such as the Razer Blackshark or the audio quality of iem’s such as moondrops or even the great budget tangzu wa’ners.
