It's interesting how "well" Trendi works when compared to *Plopsy...* which is kind of a _flopsy..._ lol I hope they update Plopsy to work as well as Trendi soon if they got the hang of Trendi.
Year latter of hindsight and is the complete opposite. Trendi you can put any price, sims will buy it without needing to have the money. Listings expire fast. only works for clothes. You can't even see the outfit you buy. Plopsy instead gives its own price, always for profit and had multiplier for item qualities (masterworks = big profit) and works with a lot of craftables. You can also see what you are buying. Listing last a fairly long amount of time.

i wonder if being that style influencer(?) impacts this thrift store mechanic cause if you max what ever the job im thinking of, you can influence sims to wear the outfits your sim wears, so in theory, a sim could be max of that career, wearing a specific style of outfit at all time, and thrift clothes from that style at redonculous markl ups because in theory, that style should stay in because of the style influencer max job, in theory of course. if it works hand in hand like that, then I think with a lil work on that career to reach that point where you can do that can make the thrifting for money (on top of that career too since you need it for that kind of perk) a bit OP

Stanley duel wielding boba in each hand is who i aspire to be
I hope that you maybe can build a Boba shop and a Thrift Store separately. That would be very cool. Hopefully they did that😄
They mentioned on Twitter that you can place the boba counter anywhere in the same way as the market stalls 😄 so it doesn’t need the thrifting to work
@@bpsara uhh okay thats nice 😊
Name one Boba Tee run by Boba Fatt and the other Used Threads run by ArrToo DeeToo
oh my god i can't wait to try creating looks and selling them, it must be a lot of fun. imagine the Sims wearing clothes that we created, it makes me extremely excited, really. can't wait :p
The welcome wagon is Kayla’s kryptonite
It's kinda a strange addition to a high school pack but... I'm glad we are getting it. I can see how this will encourage me to try new outfits with my Sims.
BLESSED. This series is my favorite on ur channel lol, always has me laughing
Judging everyone’s outfits while he is in a literal costume 😂😂😂 Makes sense
When the game comes fully you should replay this challenge. It might be because of how you played it the developers might change how the game play works.
Remember when we got excited about Plopsy. And now noone ever uses it! 😭
It's interesting how "well" Trendi works when compared to *Plopsy...* which is kind of a _flopsy..._ lol
I hope they update Plopsy to work as well as Trendi soon if they got the hang of Trendi.
Any pack that can give Stanley a new potential get-rich-quick scheme gets bonus points from me.
I just watched plumbellas review and as she mentioned the thrifting and my first thought was “oh I can’t wait for Stanley to try that”. It was like my phone read my mind and literally just popped up with the notification.
I still so weird how they made a College pack first before making a High School pack
Omg I’ve never been one of the first people to watch one of your videos, I’m so excited😂
“They don’t fit over his buns” I see what you’ve done there😂 (19:14)
a great idea for someone who actually wants to get a lot of money with this is doing a bunch of outfits, check the trends and put them for selling when they are trending. using them as well is good
Do Rags to Riches with kleptomaniac and the trash can that give you money for garbarge.
It would be cool if you could find a way to do a full build just with "thrifted" items in the sims
What if you have multiple teens?? Like 3! Can you be with all 3 in the High School? Switching per person?! Like get to work, if both the mom and dad are doctors, you have to choose ONE to follow!!
as a regular boba drinker i love that they've added it to the game! really hoping it'll be like restrants so you can make your own boba shop
The fact that Agnes Crumplebottom wanted an E-GIRL OUTFIT 😭😭
This has given me idea
What about real estate? You build the house and then sell it
Who else would love to see a generations challenge with Stanley Humphrey as the patriarch?
I thought it was odd they collabed with Depop at first, but I like the idea of Sims thrifting!
Out of all the gamechanger content I've seen, this is the first video that's actually made me consider buying the pack
There it is 😁! I would have been disappointed if good ol' Stanley hadn't made an appearance!
This trendi thing is my fav ever. I sell these lil outfits for like 40000 simoleons and the townies still buy them 😭
its weird that to make a thrift store it HAS to also be a bubble tea shop like dont get me wrong, i love that, but why cant we just build a normal thrift store and bubble tea shop separately?
Right?? I wish they used this as an opportunity to mix lot types. It would be awesome if we can have locations like in sims 2 where they are shops and restaurants
They didn’t want to make two separate buildings, so they just clashed them and made them 1. Interesting choice, but oh well.
I love you, and your videos so much! You’ve helped me through so much 😘
I was focused on the dozens of Boba that were all over the shop that never went away. 😂
I love the stanley series... Would it help to take your sims selfies and post them to sell the outfit better?
Stanley Humphry merch would look so good I'd buy that
i wonder if being that style influencer(?) impacts this thrift store mechanic cause if you max what ever the job im thinking of, you can influence sims to wear the outfits your sim wears, so in theory, a sim could be max of that career, wearing a specific style of outfit at all time, and thrift clothes from that style at redonculous markl ups because in theory, that style should stay in because of the style influencer max job, in theory of course. if it works hand in hand like that, then I think with a lil work on that career to reach that point where you can do that can make the thrifting for money (on top of that career too since you need it for that kind of perk) a bit OP
