Kayla, try not to worry about not sharing the wedding details. (Easier said then done). Sharing details can sometimes be dangerous. I'm just happy you're going to have a wedding wedding! Best of luck during the process coming up to it❤
She's always been so careful about the info she shares in her videos, and even then people have showed up at her previous apartments before. So I understand her hesitancy with sharing wedding details.
Kayla, I struggle with self confidence issues myself, I understand how you feel about your wedding dress. Fashion has become a source of comfort for me. All I can say is this, if it doesn’t make you happy when you put it on - it’s not the right dress for you. When a garment is right, it speakers louder than the internal monologue :) - good luck!
A good tip I found when i was scared of wearing something outside that I liked but wasn't sure what people would think, is that personally when i walk in the street even if I see someone that's dress in a way that i dont necessarily love I'm gonna have forgotten about them 15 seconds later! So it was easy going out and thinking well if they dont like it they wont even remember it so! (I mean it doesn't really work for a wedding but😅)
@@beentheredonethat30omg i got this outfit that i havent worn outside because i’m scared of what people think and you saying this just gave me the confidence too put it on
@@silence7794 GOOD! Trust me, people will not remember! And if they do its more often than not it’s because they liked your outfit! Wear what makes you happy!
Totally agree that it's not the right dress if it doesn't make you happy when you put it on! And the other side of that coin is that finding the right dress doesn't necessarily involve a dramatic eureka moment for everyone. In my case, I had tried on a few dresses at several shops rather quickly, then just happened to realize that I was hanging out in one chatting with the shop employees about the little adjustments I would probably want to make to fit my vision. My mom pointed out that it almost seemed like I didn't want to take that dress off, and she was right - I was just happy in it! I tried on more dresses after that one, and I kept finding myself comparing them to it, and I ended up going back for it because I just kind of knew deep down that I was drawn to it. And after those little alterations I had envisioned, it was absolutely perfect!
every time you do sth outside of your comfort zone of the "blue suburban" I am just blown away. Like don't get me wrong, I love these, too but this? A freaking masterpiece
I LOVE this build! What a cool idea! I'd love to see more "renovated" spaces like this from you! Maybe a building like this turned into a wedding venue? I got married in an old ribbon mill and it was very similar to this! OBSESSED!!!
I hope the dress shopping wasn’t stressful and went smoothly for you! It’s so nice to hear that you and Dan are giving yourselves the wedding you deserve after COVID and all that visa stuff
There really is something about this lot that lends itself so well to industrial builds, I also have a converted factory home there in one of my games. It just feels right
Wooooww I need this!!! It’s just perfect for the family I’m playing with rn😍😍😍 I love the “Kayla doesn’t limit herself with packs or budgets and lets creativity flow” type builds soooo much
So I'm an older mom in my 30s. I love The Sims. I have to say Kayla you have fast become my favorite yt simmer. Your builds are great and you seem so genuine. Congrats on all the exciting wedding news! And please only share what you feel comfortable with. ❤
Hi Kayla, Don't be nervous about dress shopping. When I went with my daughter it was lovely. Very private. Also I think for safety I suggest making a little montage of what you feel comfortable sharing after the wedding. Have fun planning!😊
I think this is one of the best buildings you've ever done!!! the style and the lowkey art pieces scattered around, the place looks like it belongs to a famous artist living in a big city, like New York (don't come from me, I live in Europe) it's so soo good!!! 👏👏👏

I literally cannot find ANY good builds that fit this lot on the gallery that use the packs I own, I just have to say THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! 😊 Also I’m very happy you get to have a actual wedding!
Some friends of my family moved into a renovated fin-de-siècle (1890/1900) factory building when I was little. It had a giant two-story living room with the kids' rooms, bathroom and kitchen on the ground floor and kind of a maisonette corridor going up to the middle level, with bathroom and parents' room. And the best thing: They had SWINGS hanging from the ceiling for us kids. It felt like an urban fairytale.
Ngl, I love watching your videos as noise to fall asleep to but every time I looked over I was just absolutely in LOVE with this build - I love the bold, vivid color palette choices for each room! I also squealed when I saw you add the flag on the wall in the girl's bedroom, such a beautiful touch
23:47 yep transom windows above doors were part of how homes & buildings were heated or cooled before central heating/cooling was invented. You could still keep doors closed for privacy, but open the transoms for airflow
This is hands down my favorite build that you have ever done. I love the brick walls, the metal accents, the furniture, the color scheme. Just all of it! Amazing job! Also congrats on the wedding! Hope it all goes smoothly
Idk anything about trying on wedding dresses but if you're still thinking of how that dress made you feel next week it's probably good contender. You got this Kayla!
I understand confidence issues. One thing you don’t have to feel unconfident about though is the spilled. It’s honestly gorgeous. I think the primary bedroom is one of the most beautiful bedrooms you have ever made. Really this was a really great build.
One of the bridal stores I shopped for a wedding dress at was a renovated factory. The place was massive and it ended up being one of the worst experiences I had while shopping, compared to the smaller bridal boutiques.
OMG Kayla I absolutely LOVE this build!!! It's so inspiring! Now I really wanna build something for a single painter mom and her child or something. I love how everything fits so well together and all the painting spots?? SUPER cool
Simsie I've been a fan of yours since years and I must say this is like one of your best builds. I think top 5. This is amazing and really makes me wanna play the game. Unfortunately I don't have that many packs but wow this is great. You are so creative and talented

Love this build! I have a perfect family to use it,not in the same lot though cause one of my families lives there lol. I have a family I made ages ago and I never got to play them much. This is one of your best builds! Our wedding was meant to be April 2020 but, alas, covid. So we are married and spent the money on other things. No regrets at all. You don’t need to share anything! Stay safe!!
About dresses: You do get kind of anxious about your builds sometimes too. Maybe if you get stuck, see if you can find a personal stylist/personal shopper on one of those freelance websites to give you their perspective. There's youtube channels that talk about their experience with that sort of thing. Ofc we can help too, but that's up to you.

Aw in 2011 my mums friend got married in Orlando & the wedding party ended up nearly filling the plane, which made it into a pre-celebration & I can imagine everyone will be excited to travel to celebrate for you guys 🎉
That might be one of my favourite builds of yours ever! Just my style!
This is gorgeous! If only Sims 4 gameplay was worthy of your builds 😭
Such a cool build, need to download it from the gallery right now!
honestly i gave up posting pictures of me on instagram because i also don't get out too much and i get SO self conscious when i post anything so i get you simsie and i want you to know that you're really brave and sweet for sharing things with us!!! best wishes to you and your family🩷 can't wait to see how the wedding turns out!
IMO this is ur best build like honestly it’s perfect
You should build more houses with this kind of interior, so so pretty😍
I love this building! The kitchen is my favorite.
personally, i don’t think you should so much worry about making limited pack builds. i love seeing you go balls to the wall with builds!
edited wording for clarity :)
5:30 the fact is that in Italian “moschino” is used for small flying insects such as mosquitoes. So you are actually right for calling it like that Kayla lol
I wanted to say that I love longer videos ! ❤ You are part of my daily routine 😂❤ I am home with my baby and after breakfast I watch one of your videos
Lilsimsie long video era!! 🎉🎉 That's a Big W for all of us :D
