Thanks for the tip--I was on the right track. I'm female, 62, and just finished a bedroom set of crowns this weekend, using an angle grinder for the first time. My Makita was too powerful, so I picked up a 4 amp angle grinder, and used an 80 grit sanding blade--didn't need to file. But did need to practice a few cuts first.
Do you have one for a cabinet top?. Im trying to find it on internet. I never have done it and moldings from wood are not cheap to just cut it and try it.
Awesome.
I like this. I have always used a hand saw, and this looks quick and precise.

Thanks, Anthony! Haven't ever seen that jig saw foot gizmo. I'll be watching for that one as well.
Good job Anthony!
Made it look so easy
Just bought one of the foot attachments last week
Nice tip! Thanks
Question, when you do the 45 degree cut, what bevel did you set on the Miter saw?
No bevel, if you cut crown in the nested position, it’s just the 45 degrees of the miter saw
Are you from Long Island? Nice video!
Thank you, glad you liked it and no I’m not from Long Island but I am from NY

xander witt my method for coping wood moldings is to use a coping foot. I’ll have a video on that soon.
Follow the profile except for on the bottom. Can't go to a point, has to be cut 90°to face
