The entire time Chase is listening to the song is how I was my first time listening to it.
And the hundreth time I listened to it.
On repeat! It's a very veyr good song. I can't wait for the album.
I don't get why people are complaining and saying this song is substandard. It hooked me the moment I first heard the chorus in a post-video trailer and then I had to find it. To me the instrumentals and vocals are magic!
I don't get it either, every time it pops up in my playlist i put it on repeat this song 2 or 3 times before going on.
"Have a damn good slaye" - loved the twist
I really enjoyed the 2 minute analogy to a sandwich. The kind of sandwich you might drift away from as you try other foods, but when you come back to it you remember why it's your favourite.
Always glad to see chase enjoying some UTA! I would love to see him journey through the catalogue of in this moment and see how much they have evolved as a band over the years. I feel like chase would appreciate the vocals of Maria Brink

5:49 - I love the instrumental versions of Apex and Abyss - there's so much going on. Brittney's voice is the icing on the death by chocolate power metal cake that is Unleash The Archers. One of the very, very few bands who can sit comfortably alongside Priest and Maiden🤘.

This one seems very theatrical and soft, with obligatory hidden harsh vocals and solos of course, purely setting up whatever world they're building this time.
I commented on their video that it seems very 2112 to me, and that's high praise.

I actually found you as a result of wanting to hear what people were saying about my favorite band's (UTA) new album. Now you're covering some of the classic bands of my youth like I See Stars and it's nice to see that UTA has remained such a staple for you over the last few years!

Bacon is delicious, one of the best things on the planet, so I think it's a clear compliment! Bass, though: not butter. Mustard, bass is like good mustard.

I had to listen to this on my own before seeing what you and other reactors think... and HOLY COW!! I truly hope this band reaches the recognition of the other greats of epic style story music telling. I can help but wonder if this a continuation of the universe of Awakening/Abyss, or if it is a whole new story. The video is pretty great as well. It looks like she became the very thing she sought to destroy. As for any suggestions, perhaps some East of Eden or Cluppo?

We in the Army are hoping by then that Marko will be in a much better mental place and could in some capacity rejoin. We can always Ever Dream can't we? Good to see you again... I'm gonna have to try this one again because on first listen I wasn't into it at all. It's clearly UTA sound but it kind of seemed like a filler episode in an anime.

Great song. I'm not a fan of AI animation, but UTA utilized it better than Within Temptation did.

I did not understand the movie. Not at all. To me it just looked like cool animation. But I assume (hope?) that there was some kind of message?
And I am not sure I liked the song. Have heard songs from them I have liked much better.
I dont get it myself yet, but they love to tell stories in order and this song is about halfway through the album. So we're seeing a chapter halfway through the book without the beginning.
I'm reserving judgement until I see how it fits into the whole narrative.

This song doesn't click with me on pretty much every level. The lyrics , drums , guitars sound mediocre compared to something like awakening. The video is god awful. There is no real structure and it feels like the instruments and vocals are fighting each other instead of being in perfect harmony as again can be seen in awakening.

I wonder if it’s just the vibe that you don’t like. Humans have their perceptions colored by initial emotional reactions and the comments that are critical of this song from overall UTA fans seem to come from this emotional place. For me I dig it. It’s a UTA jam session :) Though I do agree that the video isn’t that great about midway through.
