Es ist meine erste Gelegenheit, diese 33 minimalistischen Klavierstücke anzuhören. Erstaunlich fein komponiert und wunderschön gespielt in verschiedenen Tempi mit klarem Anschlag und perfekt kontrollierter Dynamik. Die Cellosonate klingt echt schön und lyrisch mit gut phrasiertem Ton des Soliocellos und mit möglichst effektiver Dynamik. Die fünf Stücke klingen auch schön und lyrisch mit seidigem Ton des Cellos und klarem Klang des Klaviers. Wahrlich intelligente und geniale Virtuosen!

It is a work by Tengiz Mirzashvili, the famous Georgian painter and a friend of Gia Kancheli. He used to paint small size, miniature-like works mostly on pastoral themes. He and Kancheli used to collaborate on several famous Georgian movies as a movie painter and a composer.
