A million thanks from Florida to u for sharing the most valuable gear data easy to overlook: performance. I’m currently outfitting and u make 2 things very clear: ⭐️Just because some riding gear is labeled as such doesn’t mean you’ll get away unscathed. ⭐️Just because something looks good when ON the bike, doesn’t mean it’ll hold up when thrown OFF of it.
Recently, I always get annoyed putting all of my gear on to go to work and back. This is a good reminder of how important it is although I don't drive anyway close to 50 MPH during my commute!!!! I'm glad you made it as well as you did considering the insane speed.
Wow, glad you are okay! Your gear did very good and the visor of your Shoei did great. I feel that sticking with branded visor shields is worth the money for this reason. I ponder how a 40.00 visor would hold up. Thanks for posting this video & lesson.
Hi mate, good to see you are alright. If I may give you a suggestion, I would highly reccomend gloves with sliders on the palm. That feature is rarely found on non-racing gloves but its well worth it. Take care, have a good one
Good vid. Im surprised your right hand took that much damage. Last week I was riding with a guy that went off the road in the twisties. He was not wearing a helmet and he broke his nose. Could of been much worse. Wear a full face helmet !! His arm is in a sling and he has a boot/brace on his leg. Also last week a guy was hit on his motorcycle right in front of my hotel. He was already in the ambulance when I arrived. His bike was totaled and his boot was on the seat of the bike. Someone in the oncoming traffic decided to make a left turn right into him.

Thanks for the video update on crash protection. You can’t get a more realistic view on how this gear will protect you than the way you did it. 😉👍
Glad your ok after your crash , stay safe .
Interesting video and as you say, unusual to see gear that has been tested in anger. Thank you for posting. M
Nice post crash analysis mate. Glad you were wearing your gears and stayed generally safe
Thank god you are ok! Thanks for the review, good to know!
Awesome video. Well done for surviving and making a full recovery. Yep- Reviews should be post accident not pre.
Thanks for the review, definitely a unique insight! Hope you made a quick recovery and are enjoying being back in the saddle!
