Good morning, I've had the Affinity Suite for a few years now. I'm trying to get away from Adobe Lightroom but I'm finding it difficult to understand the workflow with Affinity Photo. At present, in Lightroom, I simply import the raw files from my SD card, sort out the obvious rubbish images and delete them then I'm left with the files that are worth editing/keeping. I do a bit of basic editing, add some keywords and possibly move images between collections but I don't need or want to do much else. Because Affinity Photo has no cataloguing and seems to need me to create two files, I can't see the benefit of using it over Lightroom. Am I missing something?
