Probably no one cares about it, but the AKM is actually based off AKM really, not the AK-74M or even AK-47. The AK's we see out there are mass produced AKM's, while AK-47 only have a few original copies remaining around the world. The main difference between AKM and AK-47 are the sheet metal receiver. And there are many differences between AKM and AK-74, such as the magazine shape, which holds 7.62x39mm cartridge on AKM and 5.45x39mm cartridge on AK-74, gas blowback shape and more.

The Fcar was so good. They massacred my boy
It is a completely different gun now and not even worth it I get killed by akm all the time. The Fcar used to be so strong but it was nice and balanced because it was hard to use
I think there came a time when everyone was only running the Fcar so I can't argue that it did need a nerf but this one was definitely... heavy... Let's see if season 3 brings it back to the front !
Fcar. I like the akm but the red sight is great for me. Recoil isn’t bad if you know the pattern. You must always shift your stick slightly to the right as it has a recoil pattern going to the left.

I literally finished it 3 minutes ago and I’m loving itttt 😍
The fact is that the fact is one of the hardest guns to learn in the game but if you take the time and effort into learning it it can be the most rewarding gun in the game. The aka is easier to learn and more of a fun gun but both are very very good weapons it’s just preference.
I think the FCAR is as much "more rewarding" as it is "more punishing"... You really can't afford to miss bullets. But if you don't you'll maw down anyone.
For me personally, if I want to run Fcar, imma just use the Famas. It has better ranged damage, controlling recoil is ez, the hipfire is really good, you can peek in and out of bursts, and you can slide between bursts. It has a little less dps but I think it excels at being good at far range, close range, and movement with it is so much easier.

When it comes to close range AKM and FCAR have different approaches, even though akm has the faster ROF which can melt people, FCAR has amazingggg hipfire accuracy, this means you can maneuver while accurately beaming someone engaging you. In duels you don’t need to ads which would slow you down
AKM genuinely isn’t bad at range due to have the best sustained recoil, making it easy to beam people consistently for most the clip

I was an fcar user for almost 2 whole seasons but I didn't work my ahh off for that stupid skin to not use it💀 (that skin is absolutely fire too totally worth those hellish challenges)

Fcar is good fighting one or two people, AK is better if you don't mind less damage but have a lot more rounds for team wipes.

Depends how you view best. I've done testing with friends on this. If break things down to mag size, akm is better because it's only slightly less damage, but the mag size more than makes up for it. If you're skilled enough and attentive, fcar is a great choice but the reload will hurt.
Thank you for taking the time to write that feedback ! Thats going to help newer players a lot ! I couldn't agree with you more . I was running the fcar for 600 hours and absolutely loved every second of it. Its the current meta that is pushing me to the AKM at the moment...
@@Kapp-10 Well it takes less reloads to take on the same number of enemies. 3 heavy enemies take I believe it was 3-4 mags with akm but fcar takes 4-5.
6:30 i think that the AKM is actually the better noob gun, cuz it has more ammo.
Why do you say noob gun ? It’s a great weapon! Well not so much season 3 but it was great for the last two seasons !
@@Kapp-10 does not matter as much if you miss, ofc it might not be bad in good players hand but for a bad aimer its 100% better than fcar
the AKM is the successor to the AK47. yea its basically the improved version of the AK47

Ak is more fun to use but i hate the iron sights so fcar is my go to gun
i was saying the same for the first 600 hours ! Then tried the AKM and its actually a lot of fun to melt down heavies !! You should give it a try !

P.S. As one person said before me: what everyone mistakenly calls AK47 is actually AKM, which was later used to make AK74 and other models.
Also AK stands for 'Kalasnikov's assault rifle' not 'automatic kalashnikov'

Fcar imo is just worse than the ak now. Ttk difference is negligble and the ease of use ofor it make it way less rewarding for how risky it is. Akm has more rounds, nearly identical damage, less recoil, and decent iron sights make the fcar effectively worse. Only thing going for it is its holo sight, that is it though. Feels like a high risk, medium reward weapon, while akm is low risk, high reward. The fcar now kinda lost it's identity as the strong assault rifle type and more of a copy paste but worse version of another gun
i would completely agree with you. I was a huge fan of the fcar but it's really falling off the meta wagon right now...
