the Fob clock @ Melbourne Central

The fob clock plays Waltzing Matilda each hour.
As the music plays the bottom section of the clock lowers revealing two small boys playing their instruments, surrounded by birds.
The whole display has an almost magical feel about it.

A very interesting & entertaining “ giant “ variation of the old fob watch. I was waiting for the musician on left to move, perhaps he was not meant to do anything!!. Tks Vik & Dan.

The clock istself installed in 1991 by Seiko. Previously the clock includes hanging chain from 1991 until 2002. In 2006 the chain is removed. But again, in 2014, that Seiko logo in the clock itself was removed, and the speakers were been fixed, or sometimes replacing the subwoofer from 1990s until 2000s.
