  • This deep tissue foot massage is done by Naturopath Brandon Raynor using chopsticks and Thai massage tools to get to the source of chronic residual tension. Getting tension out from its roots in the toes is the most effective way to also eliminate tension higher up in the body.
    In other words, in order to treat lower back pain, knee problems, sciatica, some forms of headaches, abdominal issues, repressed emotions, neck problems etc, we first need to get the roots of the tension out from the toes.
    This is the most effective way to completely rejuvenate a person.
    Using chopsticks for toe massage can provide several benefits, primarily by stimulating acupressure points and promoting circulation in the feet. Here are some potential benefits:
    Acupressure Stimulation: Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) holds that various points on the feet correspond to different organs and systems in the body. Using chopsticks to apply pressure to specific points can stimulate these areas, potentially promoting balance and overall well-being.
    Relaxation: Gentle massage with chopsticks can help relax the muscles and tissues of the toes and feet, reducing tension and promoting a sense of relaxation and comfort.
    Improved Circulation: Massaging the toes with chopsticks can enhance blood flow to the feet, which may help alleviate coldness, numbness, and swelling in the toes, as well as promote healing in cases of injury or discomfort.
    Pain Relief: Massaging the toes with chopsticks can help relieve pain and discomfort associated with conditions such as hallux rigidus, plantar fasciitis, or bunions by loosening tight muscles, reducing inflammation, and stimulating natural pain-relieving mechanisms in the body.
    Foot Health: Regular massage with chopsticks may help maintain the health and flexibility of the toes and feet, preventing issues such as stiffness, cramps, and reduced mobility.
    When using chopsticks for toe massage, it's essential to proceed gently and with care to avoid causing any discomfort or injury. If you have specific foot conditions or concerns, it's advisable to consult with a healthcare professional or a trained massage therapist before beginning any self-massage regimen.

    What was that at 20:00? Those couldn’t have been releases since the joint capsule only has so much / enough time to accumulate air between them. For educational purposes and not being confrontational in the least (I love what you do and see it to be a big health benefit) but It almost seemed like a joint was dislocated due to that constant clicking. Was that ever addressed or did you think about that in the moment? Did she ever say anything about pain in that toe? Very curious. Never heard so many releases in a few second span.
    Edit: at 21:14 that deep clunk sounds like it was put back in place lol. I really have no idea though. Curious on your thoughts.

    • @brandonraynor
      @brandonraynor  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      To be honest I don’t normally hear that noise with this joint. I always distinguish between a crack and a grind. Cracks usually happen once as the joint goes back into place. Grinds usually happen on ankles and wrists when joints just grind up against each other. To me that sounded like a grind but it’s the first time I had seen this with that joint. It definitely wasn’t a dislocation.

    • @versacetudo9243
      @versacetudo9243 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@brandonraynor interesting. I’ve seen quite literally essentially all of your videos. Multiple times lol. And can say I also have never heard that. But hey, as long as there was no pain, her foot looks like it hasn’t had that type of mobility in a long time.

    • @rrogers2370
      @rrogers2370 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      If it was a dislocation the patient would have jumped off the table in immense pain lol sounds like two rigid bones clicking where they meet.
