In this video I show why, how and when to add in a Betta to a community aquarium. Betta fish can make wonderful centre piece fish for small aquariums and can live long and happy lives with others. It's important to know the right fish to go with a Betta and have the right tank set up.
In this tank I have a shoal of Neon Green Rasboras and Pygmy Corys which are perfect tank mates for a Betta. Selecting the right tank mates for a betta ensures a happy and long lasting community aquarium.

Do you think a giant betta could go in a neon tetra tank?

Yes, I have my giant betta with cardinal tetras, black neon, albino cories, panda garra, khuli loaches, and celestial pearl danios. It all just depends on the bettas temperament. Though giant bettas are less aggressive still watch out because it's a betta :)

I had a king Betta eat one of my Neon Tetras So I had to remove him
