Haha! Shrimps are tankmates as long as you are ready to loss them as betta snacks. One of my betta was fine with shrimps almost 6 months, one day he tasted it and start hunting them frequently. So it’s based on your betta temperament
@@aquadiaryofficial lol. It was a risk I was willing to take. But at $4 per shrimp it definitely hurt. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I even gave her a big bloodworm FEAST so she'd maybe be food comatose for a while to give the shrimp a chance. 😅 oh well. I love her anyways.
I have this habit of checking on my tanks every morning and doing a headcount. Once I added two zebra snails to my betta Vapor's ten-gallon tank, and they were all good for a week, but then when I woke up one day and went to check on them, one snail got completely torn up and all the flesh was outside (I have been feeding my betta regularly).

Barani - generally, it’s No for black skirt tetra. they swim in same level as betta and known for nippy behavior. But if they are already living peacefully, I would just monitor them and moveout if any bad behavior noticed in the tank.
i got apple snails to get rid of algae and they destroyed my aquarium in a day 😂😂😂 they were not interested in algae or leftover food just my plants not one bit of algae was eaten or gunk from the bottom just my beautiful plants

It’s sad to hear. But bettas are aggressive on snail, it happens
