- Upgrading my new aggressive hardtail mountain bike! I fit new parts to my Ghost Nirvana 4X and create the ultimate all round MTB then shred trials, MTB trails, dirt jumps and urban freeride spots, would you ride this?
I've fallen in love with this Ghost Nirvana 4x bike after realising that with a few modifications that this is quite possibly the best all round mountain bike i've ever ridden. I decided on day 1 to add 27.5 wheels to this 26" frame and today I go the extra mile by adding gears, 50mm Title handlebars, new suspension forks and a freak coaster mod that you will love. After all of this maintenance I then head out and hit some urban MTB freeride spots before getting creative out on the local MTB trails and also squeeze in a session at on some dirt jumps. I really love how many different spots this bike can handle and how creative you can be just by changing a few bits! So sit back and enjoy as I shred this thing as much as possible, would you ride this?

Sam it must be so sick to have a brother like Lewi with teleportation super powers. The way Lewi can just teleport to another part of the trail you're riding to film so you don't have to do the same bit over and over again must make filming so easy.
I love that that crash was so bad that Lewie was laughing too.

That's the first time I have ever seen Sam struggle on the bike locks but in true Sam Pilgrim fashion, he didn't give up and pulled it off in the end. Don't worry Sam, we all got to see it and it was awesome.

Also, with freak mode you should try a 180 into a backwards rolling manual, and then half cab it into a bank.
I saw a clip of a bmxer with a free coaster do that and it would be cool if you could pull it off with freak mode.

Man...I've used that DNR tool. It was fun because I lined my bats up myself then used their tool and I was off by eye bad! Tried it 3 times to see if I would get lucky and my eyeball try was wrong each time 🤦. Smart tool.

My trick to align bars is use a square piece of wood or something solid and place it against the crown of the forks then line the bars up with that.

awesome! its ...............a 90's jump bike! albeit with slightly larger wheels. Also is there a crank manufacturer out there brave enough to sponsor Sam and cease the dreaded creak?
im fairly certain that frame is designed with 5-6+ inch forks in mind.............. its a freeride/urban hardtail like snipes and the transition vagrant by the looks of it and i can tell you from experience running anything less just fucks with the geometry and actually ruins the trail handling and overall balance between the front and rear ends, but hey to each their own guys in the end each bike is usually a representation of the rider/builders and if it works for you go for it !!!!!!!
BTW when are you going to learn how to install a set of cranks so they wont creak?!?!?!? :ROFLMFAO

Just bought a GHOST Kato, deadly bike. Love everything about it. Honestly my first "Real" MTB so maybe I am just Horny for my new ride lol but it's definitely my favorite thing I own this summer 🤟

Everything functions properly th-cam.com/users/postUgkxHL1v1R3NE5x4KiYfyt8dnQmyNYz7qi5L Nothing was damaged in the box aside from a decal on the fork. The decal was missing a piece of a corner but I ended up peeling them off anyways. Assembly is easy BUT make sure you tune up the derailleurs. Both the front and rear need adjusting. I'd advise going to a bike shop but I opted out and put in 10+ hours with the help of TH-cam. Ended up fraying a shifter cable but all in all I learned from the experience. The Brakes work well but the front caliper needs adjusting or at least mine did because the rotor was rubbing against the pads. Make sure you swap out the seat, grips, and pedals. For the short run you'll be fine though. I've read that this bike isn't built yet for hard trails but I just need it for the city. PA has some of the worst roads and being in a mountain this was a great choice. Worth the investment!
