This slip out was like one of my biggest slams too, bike slid out and i smashed face first into the pavement. Puked. Sure slowed me down for while, can't take too many dings to the melon dude be careful!

Loving your content, talent and hard work. As a worker in the MTB industry, I feel like the way your crash was handled was dangerous considering your position. Concussions can be severe and have lasting negative effects. I totally understand it's part of the game to get hurt, but calling it a concussion and just getting on with the riding without explaination on your choice or aknowledging the risks of these injuries sends a dangerous message. Do we want kids and teenagers learning that hitting your head hard and keeping on riding without being checked out is the way to go? As I was saying I'm a huge fan, your hard work and talent are an inspiration. Hope you're well.

I understand he made bad decisions immediately after being concussed, because of the head injury itself, but to then edit and upload the video with zero disclaimers, is irresponsible.

Concussions are no joke. You need to give your brain time to recover, lots of rest and no riding for at least 2 weeks. Brain trauma can sometimes take a couple of days to show up. Take it easy man.

After a crash like this I'd take a break for a week at least, take care of yourself and let you body recover 😉. Enjoy in Canarias and relax. And I'd probably replace the helmet as well; I also look for MIPS on all my helmets, road or MTB. But seriously your health comes first.
A few months ago I went down a small slope which ended in loose sand. My front wheel dug itself in and I went flying. In itself not that bad a fall, a face plant but I was wearing a helmet so no problem. Then the bike landed on the back of my head. Had a headache for about 10 days, felt tired all the time. Thankfully I'm good again. Best wishes in your recovery.
