Scholastic Brass Month is still in session! We’ve got at least one video review coming up on each of the main types of brass instruments, so stay tuned for whichever is your cup of tea!

I like that you spoke to balance. As a trumpet player I've never really thought about that challenge trombone players face.
And I'm seriously impressed at how versatile a brass player you've become.

Balance is important. Not having a good counterweight on the back of a trombone makes me play significantly worse! I'll admit I'm gear-obsessed, but hopefully I can turn that hyper-fixation into something educational for others.

I love the brighter sound of small and medium tenor trombones

Definitely! I love the versatility of F attachment medium bores especially, like my Conn 50H. Good for jazz, ballads, even early-classical period alto trombone parts and early jazz bass trombone parts!
