Diesel Days 2023 At The Illinois Railway Museum: 8-13-23

Last weekend came the pretty much annual trip at this point to Diesel Days at the Illinois Railway Museum. Once again I decided to go on Sunday, as a certain locomotive me and lots of others wanted to see was going to be running a few trains, which was none other than the recently acquired CNW SD50 7009! Seeing this locomotive in operation also paired with the CNW SD40-2 was certainly a sight to behold! There were also a couple other locomotives I haven't seen leading yet powering a couple trains, like GBW 2407 and BN 1. I stuck around the museum most of the day, but I headed to Seeman Road for the final train to get some awesome Leslie RS3L action out of the CNW 7009! Overall I'd say it was another successful Diesel Days trip this year!
