  • In this video I go over the specs and features of both the Garmin Power Switch and the Switch Pro 9100. Both are great devices on controlling accessories. Find out which one I decide to go with on my 4runner

Great info! Adding a switch panel in my truck for accessories was one of my best decisions !

Did you have any issues with the draw from your battery always being powered?

No. The power switch itself has a little red light that flashes but no issues at all.

Which rear camera would you suggest for an RV (EKKO)? Prefer to use wireless.

I have not expanded into thar world as of yet. I don't know much about which camera would be best. I use a Garmin for my dash cam but thar isn't as helpful for backing up or anything. I wish I could be of more help.

You know the Switch-Pros also has blue booth right? And it’s also programmable far beyond that Garmin unit. Just sayin. Also I have the 12 switch RCR unit in my Jeep. I’m using 8 of the 12 buttons now and have plans in the near future to use the last 4 to replace all my ARB locker and overdrive toggles on the dash. They’re not just useful for buggies.

Thank you for watching and the feedback. I did know about the Bluetooth on the SwitchPro. Some people have had problems with the Bluetooth I was told. Of course could be an anomaly and not the norm. 12 buttons is awesome. I am out of circuits of course already. The panel that had to go inside was what I didn't want. The 4runner has an ok option but other cars it is a little more difficult to mount.

Thank you for that feedback. I'm sorry to hear that about your Garmin products. I've had mostly good luck with their products and customer service. From ease of use and install the Garmin is better but in your case with past experience I don't blame you for going with Switch Pro
