2022 Ajahn sumedho is 88 and very far from senile. His mind is as sharp and beautiful now as it was then in this recording, travelling the world and giving Dhamma talks, and proves the Buddha Dhamma is a noble path 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

I've listened to this talk a dozen times now, but this time it was different. I felt as if Ajahn Sumedho was reading my mind. I felt as if he was talking directly to me and bringing up all this stuff out in the open that I've been thinking about my whole life. Things that I've been too afraid to share, or too embarrass to talk about. His "Awaken to the way life is" statement hit me today like a ton of bricks -- like taking a sip from the "fountain" of youth. It WOKE me UP. I feel so elated that I just want to scream from the top of my lungs that the World is okay, you're okay, because I'm okay. There's nothing "wrong" with you and nothing "wrong" with me. Thank you Ven. Sir.

Lord Byron I felt the same more than few times when I listen to Ajahn Sumedho's Dhamma talk. He has such penetrating insights.

Wow, Welcoming suffering. This goes against my thinking. This is why I've started to listen to Ajahn Sumedho. His talks have a way of reaching into parts of me that I never knew were there. I'm a huge fan of Ajahn Brahm. Now I can add Sumedho into the mix. Sadhu 3X.

Lord Byron Ajahn Sumedho is another great teacher. Like you, I also love both of Ajahn Brahm and Ajahn Sumedho. :)

Oh these Ajahns! Aren't we lucky? - Brahm, Jayasaro, Amaro, Sucitto, and now Sumedho, and the Chah talks read by other people. Golly.

Yes, agreed :) Been listening to Ajahn Cha and a nimber of his (particularly) western disciples for some time -- like finally drinking fresh, clear water day after day, after years of always being thirsty, dying of thirst even...
Also find a different stream of wisdom in the dharma talks of Thich Nhat Hahn and his disciples from the Plum Village Sangha, as well as in outstanding Buddhist teachers like Pema Chodron, Rubina Courtin, and Jetsunma Tenzin Palmo.

Every time I listen to this talk, a layer of ignorance is stripped away.

You say, "May I have…" or, "I would really like to have…" or, "What I really want is…" and you can name anything under the sun that you can conjure, and the Universe calmly says, "Here it is," because it is known by All-That-Is that anything that you desire-can be. So, "Yes, here it is." Abraham Hicks

I understand what he says as the opposite - no Happy Santa. No Happy, no Santa. Instead, relief from all that.
