If this video gets 2000 likes i'll drink the water at 5:46 🌴
Please don’t
Please do this is y I’m subbed
You dumped it lol
Props for the Cleetus Reference.
For those of you not living in SOCAL please feel free to use your bathtubs for this process as you might have snow on the ground but be prepared to wash away the Hockey Ring that will be there after because that water does get Rank.
Outstanding. Most Benders are.
At 5:33 you sounded like Cleetus
I'd soak it in the tub / laundry sink pre scrub and I usually put it in a front load washing machine. I'd go with a med / cold water temp as foams / adhesives don't like heat.
I'd be interested in how this would compare to borax as a laundry additive.
Loving the old style winwell shoulder pads. Haha
See if any store around you carry Gear Halo. It is a bag deoderant that works really well and it lasts a couple years. I sell a ton of it at my hockey store.
Good vid bender
I love you dawg
you should do a mustang walk around
My football equipment is hell to clean I can’t imagine having hockey equipment
My elbow pads are the only thing I haven’t upgraded ever so the stains are deep lol
Reek out is the best. Just spray your gear after you’re done and it doesn’t smell at all
I put everything but helmet and skates in the washer, then hang dry after every game. I've been doing that since the '90's without any issues and I smell like Tide every game.
I want to be in warm sunshine like you . Not the frozen tundra . Although very soon I will be playing hockey outside !
I'm pretty sure there are civilizations electing president right now in my hockey gloves/elbow pads.
5:33 Looks like the bender is a cleetus mcfarland fan
Can you do this with goalie gloves? I'm so worried about ruining my son's stuff 😩😩 his goalie glove is like all leather. Sorry I know this is an old video but we're new to the hockey scene.
i've been playing for 15 years and the only thing i've ever washed are my jerseys
Also drying is the key, make sure you don’t use hot water… cold water is best to avoid crispy gloves. The sun also helps kill bacteria, maybe a fan would help aid with drying. The key is killing the bacteria with an antibacterial soap using cold water so as not to ruin your gear.
Don’t the screws on ur visor get rusted
When ur gear is soaking wet u should put a fan over it so it drys quicker
I’ve had the same equipment for almost 13 years now. Should I still use them, or get some new stuff? I could use a few recommendations since I haven’t done any shopping for a while...
Dont fix what aint broke
I can't let it dry I live in Canada, I have a game sunday
I live in Finland where it's never dry......
Lysol Laundry Disinfectant is the best way to kill the smell.
I throw everything except the bucket and skates in the washing machine then the dryer. No 🌴 in Michigan...gonna buy a jug :)
where are you at in michigan? i live in macomb
@@jmak40gang , Port Huron
If it's cold enough that H20 will sublimate (just hard to find days in the winter when you don't need your gear).
Sublimate... Had to Google..solid( frozen) to gas without the liquid phase. We don't need no stinking 🌴. :)
@@bradr539 I just chuck a fan in front of my gear hung up in the basement after I wash it.
If you want to eliminate / limit gear stink, it needs to be dried asap after use and not rot in your bag in your trunk.
What’s your day job player ?
*haven't washed my gear for over a year lmao*
Is that the Bender mobile in the background??
Unfortunately yes, he drives a Mustang. He should really get some of that Mopar power lol
I never have. Probably should.
You might want to mention that you don't want to leave your gear out in the sun in areas that have high UV rating. That shit destroys hockey gear, especially goalie pads. #aussielife
For the frequency of exposure, he said he washes it once an off season, UV would only be helpful in killing bacteria.
Title says "How to" hence making this is a tutorial for others.
Guys, please wash your jocks and jerseys on a more frequent basis; on behalf of the rest of the team, thanks ;)
This video was great until you said to “let the sun do its job” with drying them, it’s never sunny in Scotland
Yummy content
Why not put it in the washing machine.
Great to see you wash your equipment, too bad you put it all back into a turd you call a mustang to stank it back up lol awesome product though!!
