My questions are: 1. That RS+ base and 2 rover system (RS+ and M+) would work same time? 2. Is it possible to install that RTK system in my Mavic 2 Pro? Reach RS+ is an L1 receiver, so it needs a clear sky view without obstacles for the best performance. In regards to Reach RS2, it is able to maintain a reliable fix even in challenging conditions such as urban areas and trees canopy. We recently conducted forestry tests in Latvia with Reach RS2 and it held fix on high slopes in the forest.

The problem isn't accuracy in urban areas as the article is testing. It's the fact that Reach RS is single frequency. This is the single limiting drawback to Reach RS. L1 signal bounces off everything, including tree leaves and buildings, so an urban environment can cause a loss of signal very easily, especially if the obstruction is to the south. If Emlid ever goes dual or triple frequency, it will probably be as capable as $35,000 units.

I purchased two RS+ units, and I'm telling people that what you're receiving is an unfinished product. Constant issues, no turn on go, no UTM (or support for states CORS system), and these items on the forums always get the comment "they're on our roadmap". I have not been happy with this product at all.
Hi Michael, All features and specs outlined on the landing page of Reach RS+ are finished and already on board. Reach indeed lacks some non-advertised features you mentioned and the work on them indeed is in progress as it takes time to implement it in the software. The thing is that you don't always need them in the field. And if you need, you can use a 3rd-party software. Reach integrates well with external land survey software for Windows and Android.

The maximum update rate of RTK position on RS+ is 14 Hz, therefore, on such a speed, you'll get a solution only each 2 meters.

Could you expect each sample point (at 2m intervals) to be sub-meter, when PPK processed?? +/-50cm would be fine for our application.
