+Clay Keough Actually no. Your points are all over the place and some I agree some not. Han turns the lightsaber on? This completely does not fit his character and I could explain the reasons why in at least 3 major detailed points, all contradicting in every way with this theory. Plagueis is Snoke in my opinion too, but we will never know. Its cool if he is. If not, also cool, I just think being Plagueis is better. Rey I don't think is Lukes daughter either. It really does not fit with a lot of things. Who is the mother? When did Luke have time for this? After or before Kylo and training? Was the mother a student? And a whole bunch of questions leading into "how much can we bend the Jedi rules and still call him a Jedi? Are we tossing everything out the window at this point?" Etc etc etc. He was training Jedi. That there is enough ground to make Rey part of those young Jedi. But again, we will know when the film comes. His opinions are hardly far fetched and abide more to logic than just "wow cooool, wouldn't that be awesome in a SW fiiiilm? :O"
I humbly disagree about the death of Han Solo scene. We never saw Obi-Wan and Vader interact until their scene on the Death Star and didn't really realize the impact and emotion of that scene until we found out the relationship Anakin and Obi-Wan shared in Empire, Jedi, the prequels and the Clone Wars which I think like that, the death of Han Solo will forever impact the Star Wars universe much like the death of Kenobi's did before it and we'll see more of Ben and Han's relationship in the expanded universe and through Ben remembering his father in future Star Wars films. I also love the lighting in the scene, the blue and red illuminating on Ben's face showing his inner conflict until it happened, and his face went red, signifying his descent into darkness. Just my opinion though and your certainly entitled to yours.
+Noah Upchurch I have to agree, the scene of Han's death made me tear up every time. Not because I loved Han (I was a Luke kid), but I was torn apart by the thought of my own children hating me in that way and wanting me dead. Full Disclosure; my second child is named Luke, and my oldest is named Kobe, though we often call him Kobe-Wan.
I actually love the death of Han, and you do get a bit of connection when Han talks about him and how Kylo says "He Means Nothing To Me". I love the death but that's just me
+Jacob Howard Its not just you. It was me too. Also, knowing it will happen retracted absolutely nothing from the scene in my opinion. It was so emotional, and, simply brilliant in my opinion. The sound, music, expressions, his fall, Chewie and Rey screaming... The whole scene was simply amazing.
Revenge of the Sith had some cameos of characters that were originally created in Legends comics so it's not impossible for them to have the new canon characters that appear in the TV series, comics, and novels if it makes sense with the story.
I blame migraines on my Ben mix up yesterday. Nice Twitter friend sent me the link from the encyclopedia confirming what said was wrong. My bad :) Love having fans to come to our rescue when there's a flub ;) xx
I keep having this same fight with people... Listen.... Kylo was the apprentice who turned.... why is it so hard for people to understand that. Not everything has to be spelled out.
+Tyler Bueno Music It does not confirm that in the movie. It does elsewhere though. The visual dictionary and starwars.com in his bio. In the movie, we only know that he was a student of Luke and one of his students destroyed what Luke had started.
+Tyler Bueno Music One can assume that, sure, but things were left fairly vague in the movie. I wouldn't be surprised if the apprentice was someone else.
Tyler Bueno Music You're grabbing at something that isn't there too...y'know... Since it was never confirmed that Kylo was the apprentice... I'm not wasting my time and picking sides or anything, there's a million ways that they could choose to go, I'm just saying that there's no clear cut answer.
+ColliderVideos I thought that Max Von Sidow and Harrison Ford we're among the names Kathleen Kennedy had mentioned we're returning. My mistake. It would be cool if they did.
+ColliderVideos Have you seen the Finn force sensitive theory? I wasnt a believer coming out of the movie because I didn't register it. Finn can hear the screams of the hosnian system while he's getting ready to leave for the outer rim. Finn literally hears the screams. Obi-Wan felt the screams when Alderan was blown up. Surprised I've not seen this talked about on Jedi Council yet.
wumurphfu You can't do that without F the cannon up pretty sure Darth Vader and Obi wan meet for the first since the clone wars at the Death Star in ep 4
+Taheah Shahdaiah he met his end. Bringing him back to life was even more dumb than killing him in Phantom Menace. Him being a major charater in clone wars and rebels is one of the reasons I've never been able to get into those series. It's just so damn stupid. Dude gets cut in half and lives. Unbelievably stupid.
I very much enjoy this show. I love the dichotomy between Christians ultimate enthusiasm for everything SW and John's skepticism for, well, all topics. Mark's boyhood optimism and comedy to the grounded yet playful perspective of Tiffany. It's obvious everyone on the panel truly enjoys what they are doing and the SW enthusiasm is infectious.
I agree, it is a really dumb title. It sound like the title of an old 1940s radio play, not a Star Wars movie. John said he thought Attack of The Clones was a bad title, but I think that The Tale of the Jedi Temple is way worse.
Interesting regarding VIII starting where VII left off. Long ago Lucas said he had been inspired as a kid by Saturday matinee cowboy serials (also part of my youth). They often picked up on the same story line from last one.
RE: Han's turning on the lightsaber himself. Sadly, it says very clearly in the book that Ren activated the lightsaber, and re-watching the scene it's pretty clear that Ren did it. Enough said. But I liked the idea of Han doing it. Here's why: He knows Ben's going to kill him at that point...and if Han ignites the saber, preventing Ben from having to do it, it prevents Ben from being the active agent in Han's death -and thereby making his turn to the dark side still incomplete, leaving some hope for a turn back to the light at some point. In a way, I also, selfishly, wanted Han to have a more heroic death - I felt we were kind of cheated by seeing die so passively, but with SOME kind of agency in it...(I'd have preferred a more swashbuckling death, with guns blazing, Chewie howling, shit exploding, etc., but since I couldn't get that, the next best thing would have been to give him SOME kind of agency, rather than that sort of passive, sad last moments. Han Solo should have gone out a little less...I don't know meekly? That's all.)
Kristian and tiffany...you two were talking about that island may not be the temple but if you remember in the last episode of rebels where they go to the jedi temple they use the force to make the temple open and it rises out of the ground. Who's to say it isn't the temple and they have to use the force to "open" it.
Tiffany is an ok reporter. But her ideas and comments are never that great. I'd prefer a weekly rotation of a 4th person and Tiffany can fill in when no one else can do it.
+Star Wars Is Awesome I think she's a cool person. But not the best fit for this show. Maybe Flash and Arrow recap shows, or trailer reactions. I would prefer to hear David Griffin's thoughts or Ken Napzok. Really I just miss Maude Garrett. :)
I think something like Star Wars Episode VIII: "The Darkness Rises" would be more fitting. It sort of reflects "Empire Strikes Back" and fits with what could happen if Kylo Ren completes his training and his turn to the dark side. Like the original trilogy it would give a "flow" to the titles.
Did you pick up on the scene in the latest Rebels show that called back to "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade"? When the Jedi temple was crashing down and our heroes were running out, Ezra looks back over his shoulder to see Yoda. Yoda lifts up his hand to wave goodbye, just like the Knight did when the temple was crumbling down around him.
Guys, i really like your show except your Darth Maul-worship. Yeah, i liked that character, too, but star wars should not make the same mistake as DC and Marvel an resurrect every beloved character that dies within the series. They brought Maul back in Clone wars and lets be honest, it was aweful. I mean, Voodoo-legs, really? Lets hope they end his story quick in Rebels
The time lapse thing is a big issue, even back in the OT. According to other sources, that may or may not be canon, it took them weeks to a month or two to reach Bespin. It took them days to a couple weeks to go from Tattooine to Alderaan in ep. 4. They never really address how much time lapses in the travel.
Hey Councilors, Love the show and I'm a subscriber, but you guys really seem to be belittling Tiffany. I know Star Wars is a boys club for me and my friends in real life, but you're on public media, hundreds of thousands of people can see and hear you. Maybe it's just that she's new to the council, but I feel like you should me more mindful of how dismissive of her some of you come across.
Tiffany just blew my mind when she said Rey had her mind wiped. Just made me geek out a bit and speculate to what you talked about earlier with us not knowing 100% that Kylo was Luke's failed student. Maybe it was Rey. She had her mind wiped and DID go evil (Kristian that's for you cause I agree that would be sick) and now she's slowly getting her memories back. That would also explain Luke's 12 minute stare-down when she arrives for training. He's trying to decide if A) she remembers him and B) if he should try to train her again. Probably not at all what's happening, but come on! That would be awesome.
They did get permission to film on Skellig Micheal and they have also secured another location in Cork(Ireland ) where they are getting ready to start filming soon for episode 8
Finally got around to seeing TFA again. RE: Rey turning dark, once she overpowers Kylo it does appear she is thinking about finishing him off before being interrupted by the earthquake. Her next move is definitely in question. Unrelated, John Williams seems to be hinting she is Luke's kid by using the Luke theme for her a couple of times. Another thing I noticed, when Kylo mentions the force/she pauses/is able to win - I think that's them calling back to A New Hope again. It mimics the moment when Ben Kenobi's ghost tells Luke to use the force in the trench. Luke's a good pilot but he needs the force to put him over the top and we take that leap of faith with him. Same with Rey, she is a good fighter already but needed to use the force to get the upper hand on Kylo; we should take the leap of faith with her as well. But was she already using the force when fighting without realizing it (to see opponent's moves before they happen)? If so what extra benefit did her "force meditation" provide? In a way I love that this movie prompts so many questions but it's going to suck if Ep 8 comes and goes without addressing any of them.
Also, as to the rule of two title suggested in the Twitter questions. What if the rule of two is not about the sith but now the Jedi and Luke will only take on one Jedi apprentice to keep the Jedi preserved! That would be awesome!!
Honestly my DVR didnt pick up this last episode of Rebels either... idk what happened, but i missed the episode like Tiffany, but i just watched it and it was AMAZING!!
33:45 I swear Kristian Harloff was making that same complaint he's putting people down for making in the spoiler reviews for Force Awakens 3 months ago
+The McDougal Bugle like maybe say "I used to feel this way, but after reading Abrams quotes, it makes more sense and looking at it that way makes it work totally and now I think it was a 100% effective choice". kinda seems like denying ur original frustration with it
Hyperspace is pretty fast though. In episode II Obi Wan went from Coruscant (near the galactic core) to 'outside' the Rishi Maze (a separate satellite galaxy) in short enough time that being cooped up in the tiny cockpit of his Jedi Starfighter wasn't too uncomfortable for him.
When Ezra and Asohka are talking about Anakin and she mentions that they were taken out. Ezra says "By the Inquistors." And Asohka doesn't correct him or deny him of his response. So does this mean that the Inquistors were around since then? I mean they aren't in the Kanan series, which they could've been, and they aren't mentioned in anything else(?) Maybe? What do you guys think?
The Palace of Caserta fits really well into Starwars as Theed, surprisingly. Dubrovnik suits Kings Landing with the style and age even more. Rodia had a blend of eastern architecture according to the Art of the Clone Wars book/ booklets, with other civilizations at different levels. Savage Opress doubted that a temple could function as a fortress in the Clone Wars. Metal cities evoking Cybertron would not suit humans, (of course not to be Imperial about it) but the planets and dwellings suit their occupants.
Hey John, if hyperspace travel can take a week or two, how much time do you think it will take to blow up five planets from one system to other with a giant laser ray that seems to be going about 40 miles per hour...
+dougdedalus They kind of explain it in the book- the real "weapon" travels through some kind of hyper-hyper space or something like that. That red beam was just some kind of afterglow/focusing and the movie was showing it wrong- That is one of J.J. lack of understing science things.
Hey Mark, when you said "I hope tiffany doesn't puke on her new Rogue One shirt!" you sounded like the Rod Roddy from the price is right. Maybe thats the next career path? haha Love your show everyone, always great to listen to.
You've got to remember that Civil War is releasing (like most may marvel movies) about fifteen days before the U.S. Is a lot of overseas territories. Meaning that should the Rogue One trailer be attached to it, it could be released as early as April 22nd (or at least that's the usual date), when Civil War opens in some European countries. Take about five days before for the usual online release, and you've got Campea's "mid April" date.
The 1940s radio announcer voice at the beginning of Clone Wars IS the opening crawl. Instead of making kids read, they just had a WWII-like news reel. But it served the same purpose. Just imagine what he's saying crawling up the screen. Either way, it's catching the viewer up on where the characters are in the story as it begins, and that's essentially what the question is asking if they need considering it's starting right where TFA ends.
John was right about the clone wars crawl but it was supposed to be in the same vein of the series (the weird announcer guy was basically a spoken crawl). But the the anthology/ "story" movies should certainly have a crawl. I mean KOTOR and the force unleashed had one and they were just spinoff videos games.
I haven't watch all the Clone Wars so I don't know how much this connects (I'm working on it!), but in the Legends novel Dark Plagueis we learn that Maul was never a truth Sith in the first place. Palpatine trained him secretly whilst still being Plagueis' apprentice. He insinuated that Maul was just his assassin he'd deceived into thinking he was a sith. Of course there is a hot second in the old canon between Plagueis' death and Maul's 'death' at the end of Phantom Menace. That's all old canon, though, so it doesn't really matter. Still worth noting I think.
While I see John's point about the impact of the father son relationship not being developed enough to get the full emotion it did not really bother me that much because it is a really cool moment to see them together for the first time and later after we have had a little more background about them I think that could improve
Possible titles for VIII: All lame - Return of the Master - The Dark Side Unleashed/Unbound (carrying on the theme of the force) - Rise of the Order - Shadows of Old (Link back to the OR/first jedi temple and Snoke and all) - The Great Fear - The Force Collides - Snoke and Ren throw a party!
Ezra can't be Snoke. In the Force Awakens book, which is cannon, Snoke said that he witnessed the rise and fall of the galactic empire. He had a lot of inside knowledge on what had grope we behind the scenes. Ezra was born the day the Empire was founded.
I love the idea of Maul helping the Rebellion. He has no love for Palpatine or the Empire. Maul vs Vader is the best idea I ever heard. I asked a bunch of questions on the Rebels Recap page - How physical were the Jedi Temple Guards? The Grand Inquisitor is dead so he must have been a mental projection or a force ghost?
For me the first time I saw the Han death scene I had some similar feelings about it not being perfect but I still felt the weight of Han Solo being gone so for me the second time when I saw the regret on Drivers face right after, and its very subtle, I came around to loving the scene and I absolutely love Driver as Kylo Ren
Quentin Tarantino directing a "Star Wars Story" (or whatever they're calling it) that has absolutely nothing to do with the main Star Wars saga...would be great. A Tarantino film that's cloaked in the universe of Star Wars has a lot of potential. Disney should make that happen...asap! It can even be a space western...since Tarantino has a thing for westerns.
It doesn't matter that Hans death was telegraphed what mattered is how it was done and how tense the scene became. Han knowing he would probably die but chose to confront his son anyway because he loves him and a parent has to try. That's what makes it a powerful scene in a packed theatre you could not hear a pin drop. That's what makes it a well done scene My favorite scene in the movie I would hardly say "botched"
Surely the titles in contention! Ep VIII: Dawn of the Planet of the Jedi Ep VIII: War for the Planet of the Jedi. Ep VIII: Temple of the Jedi Ep VIII: Jedi of the Temple Ep VIII: Temple Full of Jedi Ep VIII: Two Jedi and a Temple Ep VIII: One Jedi, One Padawan and a Temple Ep VIII: Death Rey Ep VIII: Revenge of the Rey
This would be one of my personal favorite TH-cam shows if it had Time Stamps so I can catch the parts I want to catch. If it did, I'd happily watch 20-40 minutes of a lot of shows conveniently, but since it doesn't I often end up skipping whole episodes because it's incredibly unnecessary to shift through a 60+ minute video to hunt for parts relevant to me personally.
Prediction: Rian Johnson will channel his Breaking Bad experience and begin with a "cold open." Something like: 1) Lucasfilm logo 2) Re-enactment of Rey's arrival (but from Luke's POV) 3) Brief, poignant exchange between Luke and Rey 4) "A long time ago..." 5) Title & Opening Crawl letting us know what has happened since the end of Ep. 7. 5) A scene that takes place in the present (about a year later)
would be cool to see Rey fly the falcon while luke pilots his old beat up x-wing off that planet in episode 8.. the shot would hark back to return of the jedi when they all leave Tatooine... another great show folks ,cheers
So, does the opening crawl of ANH describe the plot of Rogue One? It is a period of civil war. Rebel spaceships, striking from a hidden base, have won their first victory against the evil Galactic Empire. During the battle, Rebel spies managed to steal secret plans to the Empire's ultimate weapon, the DEATH STAR, an armored space station with enough power to destroy an entire planet.
ok so if you see clone wars, when Yodi learns from what I like to call the "fates" they talk about balance. So with that in mind, if Anakin is light, goes dark, comes back finds balance becomes a force ghost. Luke, is light goes dark finds some balance and appears to continue the balance. Maul was dark became more light, has a balance. I mean he isnt "good" but more centered. ahsoka tano has gone across a range of emotions to find her balance. anyway its just an interesting idea. nothing locked into it yet. but there is a lot of aspects that point to balance in the force and we always make assumptions but its never clear =) thanks fun video.
Missing railings and exhaust gratings over important ventilation shafts - is it flaws in the Empire engineer training program or budget issues? Super Space stations costs a ton to build. :)
i think they start ep. 8 with the crawl about what Luke's been up to, and then 5 minutes of scenes of luke alone or with some ghosts. And then they show the scene of Rey arriving and meeting him. that personally makes the most sense to me. #starwars8
Do you know how many copies of the old movies I have? I have two blu-ray copies of each movie, a dvd version of the special and theatrical editions and VHS of everything except the prequels and TFA. I'm getting digital and that sexy Steelbook.
Anybody else get so hype when they see a new Jedi council in their feed
Yep
no sorry, have a nice day.
+ctgstudios421 I do. Wednesdays Rebels, Thursdays Jedi Council
No. I hate this show more than anything in the world, but unfortunately I'm a sadist.
+Joe McKim It gives me a boner every time.
I'm always excited for Heroes and Jedi Council they're my favorite shows to watch on TH-cam. #ButJohn
Part of me just wishes he would leave so I don't have to go through him leaving a third time.

No, you're the best!

+The One agreed and they're awesome also because they have John Campea! and Schnepp on Heroes! of course the Schmoes are cool too
I'm so glad that John Campea is still on Jedi Council! This show is truly one of the highlights of my day, really love this show
Agreed

Despite having 4-5 shows recording to my PVR on Thursday nights - wife and I ALWAYS start with the Council. Love the show guys!
Finally! My favorite show!
I found this show a couple ago. Glad that I did, please keep up the hard work, enthusiasm, and great insight! Thank you!
my fav show, online or otherwise. Campea please never leave
He's already said this is temporary. I'm no more happy about it than you but get yourself prepared.
Donny St.Pierre I know but I love the guy lol
This is my favorite Jedi Counsil panel.
tale of the jedi temple sounds more like a Rebels episode than a film title
NOW THIS IS PODRACING!
I refreshed too many times looking for this video.
HYPERSPACE TAKES TIME! Thank you John!
+Christopher Luke what was the game he was talking about during that
love getting off work every Thursday then have a bong, a brew and some jedi council
I bet the Rogue One trailer hits the web on May 4 (May the Fourth be with you), and then it's attached to "Civil War" in theaters two days later.

Chasing around Dubrovnic reminds me of some of the Rebels episodes with speeder bikes.
oh shit, almost an hour and a half, I'm gonna enjoy this ;)
Best show on you tube / tv keep up the good work team you guys get me through the week it's something I really look forward to every week

I agree and was like Tiff' s my girl but she missed a big scene there.
Love this show so much! Thanks guys for bringing us great content always
I want a "shave your head & go to sleep" t-shirt ...Collider pls
I'm surprised that none of them during the Rouge One merchandise segment mentioned that the Aurebesh under the logo says "Go Rouge".

I hope the canonization of KOTOR elements are discussed tonight!

Star Wars Episode VIII: The Knights of Ren
star wars ep VIII: enter the knight

coming from december 2021, I miss this so very much
The Tale of the Jedi Temple sounds so stupid. I will be pissed if that's the title, but God knows I'll be there opening night.

IF Tarantino style can work in Star Wars universe it would have to be BOUNTY HUNTERS - I can see that for older fans.

That Blu Ray announcement trailer though.
Snoke saw the Rise and fall of the Empire. Ezra did not see the Rise of the Empire. Doubt he is Snoke.
He was born the day it formed so u could argue either way
Who's that John guy on the left? He's really good! They should make him a regular on Movie Talk!
Tiffany is an ok reporter. But her ideas and comments are never that great. I'd prefer a weekly rotation of a 4th person and Tiffany can fill in when no one else can do it.
+Geek Owt Lowd I like TIffany ;)
+Geek Owt Lowd She annoys me a bit too
+Star Wars Is Awesome
I think she's a cool person. But not the best fit for this show. Maybe Flash and Arrow recap shows, or trailer reactions.
I would prefer to hear David Griffin's thoughts or Ken Napzok.
Really I just miss Maude Garrett. :)
+Geek Owt Lowd Agreed.
she's not terrible but doesn't ever say anything interesting. I would prefer that her chair be rotated for other guests. she says "like" way too much
I think something like Star Wars Episode VIII: "The Darkness Rises" would be more fitting.
Yoda lifts up his hand to wave goodbye, just like the Knight did when the temple was crumbling down around him.
correct but it was Ahsoka that saw him not. Ezra
+Adam F. Davis A reflection of american society. Three white men ganging on a female of colour. Greetings from Europe.
lol wtf
+Eye_Patch_Pirate ? Really dude? How about you not make assumptions when you don't even live in the same country you are putting down
"you don't know anything about me. Where I'm from, what I've seen. You don't know the USA like I do".
+Eye_Patch_Pirate ? I don't know what you are trying to quote but I'll say it again, don't make assumptions when you don't live in that country
This show needs Mark. Glad he's back
Finally got around to seeing TFA again.
Tiffany you're at it again. Mark Hamill's character WTF!! Im glad that Mark called her out
The "That's what she said" moment was Classic LMAO!
Been waiting all day for this!
Also, as to the rule of two title suggested in the Twitter questions.
What if the rule of two is not about the sith but now the Jedi and Luke will only take on one Jedi apprentice to keep the Jedi preserved! That would be awesome!!
Nice T-Rex shadow puppet on the wall to the right of Smith Lord!
Love that picture of Rey behind Kristian.
Honestly my DVR didnt pick up this last episode of Rebels either... idk what happened, but i missed the episode like Tiffany, but i just watched it and it was AMAZING!!
wasn't it
"The EMPIRE STRIKES Back"
"ATTACK of the Clones"
"Tale of the Jedi Temple"
The title is so lame it has to be fake.
33:45 I swear Kristian Harloff was making that same complaint he's putting people down for making in the spoiler reviews for Force Awakens 3 months ago
+The McDougal Bugle like maybe say "I used to feel this way, but after reading Abrams quotes, it makes more sense and looking at it that way makes it work totally and now I think it was a 100% effective choice". kinda seems like denying ur original frustration with it
Tiffany's positive attitude improves every episode!
She's like that super cool friend we had as kids, that happened to be a hot chick
"What's the deal with canon!? I mean come on!" Spot on Seinfeld impression by Harloff!
I literally cried when John described Hans face when he got stabbed, I had finally gotten that image out of my head
Yes! Best time of the week :)
+hughtubecube yes
"The Rule of Two" is a fucking legendary title. I'd also love to see Rey go to darkside, and I'd love to see Daisy play that. She'd kill it.
While I see John's point about the impact of the father son relationship not being developed enough to get the full emotion it did not really bother me that much because it is a really cool moment to see them together for the first time and later after we have had a little more background about them I think that could improve
deadpool says in the movie that he was hunting Ajax for a year and half, so thats how i knew how much time had gone by John... love the show guys!!
Possible titles for VIII: All lame
- Return of the Master
- The Dark Side Unleashed/Unbound (carrying on the theme of the force)
- Rise of the Order
- Shadows of Old (Link back to the OR/first jedi temple and Snoke and all)
- The Great Fear
- The Force Collides
- Snoke and Ren throw a party!
Ezra can't be Snoke. In the Force Awakens book, which is cannon, Snoke said that he witnessed the rise and fall of the galactic empire. He had a lot of inside knowledge on what had grope we behind the scenes. Ezra was born the day the Empire was founded.
Just pre-ordered my Force Awakens Blu-Ray!!!! So pumped after watching that teaser
I kinda like episode VIII tale of the Jedi Temple, but I read on Reddit the title"fist of the first order" which I really love
+Josh Harold
First Order fisting? Damn, thats gotta hurt...
+CHANNEL3TH-cam
hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaa
Tarantino HATES disney at the moment
#ButJohn You are wrong, Deadpool says in the start of the movie how long he has been chasing the man that did that to his face.....
and 14 hours ;)
Don't know how Deadpool know the time when he was trapped but nvm ;)
It doesn't matter that Hans death was telegraphed what mattered is how it was done and how tense the scene became. Han knowing he would probably die but chose to confront his son anyway because he loves him and a parent has to try. That's what makes it a powerful scene in a packed theatre you could not hear a pin drop. That's what makes it a well done scene My favorite scene in the movie I would hardly say "botched"
I'd love to see Luke fly. I'd also love to see banter between Luke & Poe as they argue who is the greatest star pilot in the galaxy.
Surely the titles in contention!
Ep VIII: Dawn of the Planet of the Jedi
Ep VIII: War for the Planet of the Jedi.
Ep VIII: Temple of the Jedi
Ep VIII: Jedi of the Temple
Ep VIII: Temple Full of Jedi
Ep VIII: Two Jedi and a Temple
Ep VIII: One Jedi, One Padawan and a Temple
Ep VIII: Death Rey
Ep VIII: Revenge of the Rey
Rebel spaceships, striking
from a hidden base, have won
their first victory against
the evil Galactic Empire.
During the battle, Rebel
spies managed to steal secret
plans to the Empire's
ultimate weapon, the DEATH
STAR, an armored space
station with enough power
to destroy an entire planet.
ok so if you see clone wars, when Yodi learns from what I like to call the "fates" they talk about balance.
I think the trailer will come around the time of the Star Wars Episode VII Blu-Ray or May 4.
i think they start ep. 8 with the crawl about what Luke's been up to, and then 5 minutes of scenes of luke alone or with some ghosts. And then they show the scene of Rey arriving and meeting him.
that personally makes the most sense to me.
#starwars8
Laural and Hardy where the bridge builders on Starkiller Base who didn't put in the railings.
Do you know how many copies of the old movies I have? I have two blu-ray copies of each movie, a dvd version of the special and theatrical editions and VHS of everything except the prequels and TFA. I'm getting digital and that sexy Steelbook.
