Without Lafayette it wouldln't be the same and they have done pretty much all they could do with that show. At the last few seasons honestly it was going downhill. They were struggling with creativity on what to do with the characters. It's best it is just left as it is. There really wouldn't be much of a show considering, Bill is Dead, Eric is Dead and Lafayette's actor died that would leave too many huge gaps to work around.

why the hell would you leave out Neilson Ellis? At and not at least honor him by mentioning him? Yes he died of alcohol poisoning from struggling with Alcohol Addiction but he was a major part of that show and you could have at least mentioned he passed away. That's kind of insulting to him, not mentioning him and acting like he didn't even exist!
Nelsan Ellis died only about a year ago. At the very least they could have shown clips from his final role and acknowledged his passing last summer. A number of people in the comments didn't even know he was gone. To say nothing at all is such a disservice to his work, because Lafayette was such a dynamic and loved character.
Joe Manganillo also got to play his D&D character Arkhan the Cruel, that he had forever with a bunch of nerdy ass voice actor live on the Internet for two episodes of Critical Role.
