For folks who are in search of good repulsor brace weapon, Age Old Bond (auto rifle) from last wish raid rolls with Repulsor Brace in left column and you can pair that with perks like Golden Tricorn , Destabilizing Rounds, Collective Action ,Target Lock etc.(your choice) which are present in right column. Absolutely glorious with this build.
Every time I use my age old bond it feels like I'm using a limp noodle to smack enemies. it just feels awful, it fires slow as hell and hits them like I'm throwing spare change at them
Above all else. I use most of his builds over others but there are some others I do use as well but always end up coming back to the man with the plan.... plunder.
Graviton remains a good weapon if your exotic slot is free. It got the massive damage buff last season, and has both Turnabout and Vorpal. In higher level content where everything has some kind of shield, Turnabout constantly procs and Vorpal is useful for a bit of additional damage.
Plunder, you always do such an amazing job at optimizing builds to the max. I didn’t even think about using the devour fragment instead of aspect. Can’t wait to try this out!
Plunder, a big thank you from an old gamer from Delta Force 2 days (Circa late 1999). You weren't kidding about not needing 90-100 resilience, my Void buddies really give the baddies an ass kicking. I run about 85 Resilience, 65 Recovery and 75 Discipline (yes I know I need to master some good armor) and I survived just fine on the level 1760 Savathuns Spire stuff. The fact you can cast a rift with (what seems like) impunity, run and retrieve my Void buddy and grab the Void rift thing, rinse and repeat is awesome. Thanks again, I am now subscribed/
I’ve always loved void warlock because it’s always reliable in pretty much any activity. Having constant health recovery plus viotile plus over charged grenades makes it great and now void breach is nice
Great rundown and build video, and totally agreed, Briarbinds is the most fun I've had with a Warlock exotic since maybe Osmiomancy Gloves or Necrotic Grips. Exceptionally effective playstyle with some decent flexibility and a high ceiling. I'm still mulling over my favorite exotics to pair with it as the void exotic primary / double special setup and selection, but it's a blast with just about everything.
Feel the briars need a lil tweak to make retrieving them easier, but they're a lot of fun still, same with the reworked astrocyte Been havin the most fun with void chromatic fire+Touch of Malice so far though, it's suuuuper good
Really glad to see these videos coming out again. And I really like how much I've learned from watch all your videos, because when I saw these gloves, I made my own build for when I hopefully get these, and it matches yours in many ways.
I saw the new Warlock Gloves and I thought. Man anyone who can juggle two or more Child of the Old Gods will be an insane Ad clearing beast. And this build doesn't disappoint. It didn't generate a lot of buzz like the other new Exotics but it still seemed like a powerhouse all it's own.
Not gunna lie when I first saw what these did? Wasnt too fussed. Got them drop from Vex Offensive with a great stat split & decided to at least try them out. They're SUPERB! It's almost a little mini game of deploying, clearing out ads, collecting, redeploying & if there's enough ads you can send out more! They dont stack together but I get that would've been extremely powerful with how these work! It's nice to have a new way to play Voidwalker that's fun & can actually put in work too! You're not letting anyone down running this in harder difficulty activities at all!

Finally the first person I've seen use the correct aspects for this exotic. I use it with age old bond repulsor - destabilizing which allows me to take another fragment instead of volatile rounds since everything is volatile anyway. Gg's
Dang it Plunder. I determined awhile ago that I was done with D2 until I could play the story of Final Shape. It's getting so hard to stay away from D2 because I still watch your build videos
Great video but just want to point out that you can slightly tweak it to potentially make it better. For the fragments you can change the last two to echo of expulsion for even more ad clear (void soul kills count towards that) and or echo of remnants to make your grenades more powerful. You can also change your rift to empowering rift, which won't give you as much ability energy but will heal you on void soul leeching, getting both a weapon damage buff and health, which can help proc devour more so that you get even more health and also get more grenade energy because voidlock melee is a joke if we're being honest
Is the retrofit a good alternative for the mg you're using in the vid for anyone who doesn't raid? Picked up the one from the gunsmith the other day, love the builds btw, been using the strand hunter one you posted the other day and been having a blast 😁
Yes that's a great choice! I would take a Secondary then that has Repulsor Brace though, Since those Overshields add a ton of survivability and you can always have one!
I'll just put it here. A good secondary seems to be Hollow Denial as it can have Brace then run Travellers chosen as primary for the void kills and ability uptime. Been running that since I only have retrofit as a MG. @@Plunderthabooty @JakeBellamy

While this is certainly good, I think I'm sticking to contraverse for high end content. When you got right down to it what Briarbinds brings to the table is high weaken uptime over a wide area, recharge for your abilities, and passive damage. But to get the full benefit you need to be redeploying those void souls, which limits your movement options and be straight up impossible in a lot of high end stuff. If you aren't redeploying them it doesn't really feel like you're benefitting that much from Briarbinds. This is all opposed to just running contraverse, chucking a grenade, and being damn near guaranteed to have that grenade back once it ends. It doesn't ask much of you in terms of use or positioning, just throw it at enemies.
Fun fact if you have more then one person running these exotic arms they can also pick up your children. What I like it do with my friend is steal his children and send them off to somewhere else.

This build with my crafted Other Half with eager edge and repulsor brace is soooo much fun. Actually make and eager edge sword viable in end game cause now I have movement and survivability with my heavy. Which does decent damage now with the sword guard changes. And it gets volitle rounds. So much fun man
Just an FYI I think your void soul just needs to tag it, and YOU can kill the thing and it still gets empowered. It doesn't need the kill from the testing I've done in PvP. Still need to test if teammates get the kill if it stil empowers it.
What about the artifact selection to make best use of it for this build? I am currently using the Controverse Hold build but this build has peaked my interest a lot and want to go for it once I get that new exotic. Great build showcase. I am currently looking for the armor stats I want so this build focusing primarily on 1 stat makes that grind easier for sure because I am not upgrading my armor level to 10 until I find the armor with the right stats.
I have been playing with astrocyte mainly and I wish it applies volatile at the end of blink also. Rn it only apply volatiles at the start of blink. That way you have both ways to applying volatile which makes it more fun to use. But the new briarbinds exotic is super fun to use. It makes child of the god more fun to use and more effective!

I don’t have a repulsed brace machine gun. I spent the rest of last seasons ingrams on a Regnant GL with repulser, it was horrible. Then I thought about a Taipan, so I reforged mine to have repulser brace and it wasn’t much better. When they buffed machine guns they really did. Anything else is horrible for finishing overloads. I can’t make this build work for me. I’m stuck at an impass.

I farmed Kalli this week for that rifle. The combo I used repulsor brace and golden tricorn makes it soooo good to use.

Awesome build! I used echo of cessation as my final fragment as feats a void breach when you defeat a volatile target which is pretty handy.
I used age old bonds with destabilizing rounds and dragonfly / conditional finality/ and the acact roll of commemoration you’re using it’s crazy

why the dual void/strand mod for the helm? isnt it better to run x3 harmonic if you're using a void wep?

And the best part about this exotic is that with enough enemies, you can deploy more than one void soul, and jist float between them, redeploying

I got a Repulsor Brace - Destabilising Word of Crota to drop and it slaps with this and the change to HC that came this season
